Liebster Award
I was awarded for this Liebster Award by Niina of DollsDolour. Thank you! :) It is nice way to continue this years blogging and as she also said: it is cold right now and blogging is just something you can do despite the weather. It is minus 24,6 degrees Celcius at the moment so waiting for the bus at night when I get out from work and especially waiting for the excange bus after that will be at least interesting. :D I've photographed dolls when it's been cold, but I prefer to do that when it's less cold since many times you have to put the doll and pose is easier without gloves and photographing doll at winter can be interesting! (Photo by my friend Lunaticz). Anyway, to the questions and rules from the tag!
Some rules:
1. Thank the person who presented you the award and link back to their blog.
2. Post the award image on your blog.
3. Answer 11 questions posted by the presenter.
4. Nominate 5-11 blogs with less than 200 followers.
5. Create 11 questions for the nominees to answer.
6. List these rules in your post.
7. Inform the people you chose of their nomination by leaving a comment on their blog and link them your post.
Here are the questions from Niina:
1. What is the last picture you took with your phone or camera?
In my phone is photo from Hortensia (Juri 13) from yesterday, I sewed her a skirt yesterday and she looks so adorable! And in my camera's last photo is from Lacey from few days ago, I still didn't finish her skirt so I need to wait until I photograph her. ^^; I might photograph Hortensia today at our balcony, if I have time to do that.
2. Best compliment you have received?
Gosh it must've been from Patricia at LDoll when she came to my booth and said how much she loved my work. T3T I was so moved by that!
3. What are your plans for your doll(s) this year? New wigs, clothes, new dolls?
Well I already ordered the bodies from Fairyland and I still have some bodies to get. I don't think I have much other plans than sew sew sew and then buy some more shoes. (LOL the shoe photo will come later with the other challenge!). Maybe few wigs, eyes and such too. I don't have any big plans concidering buying dolls besides the bodies I need. :) If something great comes in sight I might be tempted to get it. :D
4. What is your perfect pizza?
Well, one that you order from a pizzeria would be with chicken and blue cheese, basicly I go with chicken and what ever they serve with it, but when I make my own pizza at home I put there: chili tomato mash at the bottom (from can), chicken, blue cheese, caramelised onion and paprika, boiled egg (sliced), and some cheese on top. Mmmm pizza!
5. Which doll would you get if you could, not matter what? Why?
Bluefairy Tinyfairy Lin and Xiao in baked skin. Becouse I LOVE BOTH SO MUCH! They would be the perfect sisters and despite that I have three Lin's and two Xiao's already I would so much want to have them in baked skin also. :D And Bluefairy haven't made either in baked yet. I've heard they had some trouble with their tan resin for a while now, so I do hope they'll fix it and make more baked dolls. Also, some old Delf are something I would really love to get, but lets not go in that way. xD I know it's a swamp I can't get out from so lets keep the big dreams in MSD size.
6. What kind of music do you listen to?
I'd say I would listen anything that comes from radio except rap. There are so much channels around that I find it difficult to choose. I've listened a lot of 80's, 90's and such pop and rock. When I used to go on long walks back at 2001 I listened radio all the time. Today I don't know most of the singers or song writers. I like music, but I've not actually listened music for long. Maybe it is becouse at work there is all such of small noise, beeps and blinks and what ever that I have to pay attention to those so much I just can't listen to music that much anymore on my spare time. I would love to go back to the phase where nothing else mattered but walking and listening. If I'd listen to music right now, anything goes but rap. I'd even listen to heavy metal, but rap. No thanks.
7. What cheers you up?
Small things, chatting with people, exitement about the journey to Lyon again, this time via Paris which is even more exiting and having this journey with good friend is always great. Sewing, dolls, cat videos, seeing my parent's cat Iines' photos, talking to my sister at messenger and cute animals in photos and candy and and. :D SO many things cheer me up!
8. What is your favorite word and why?
Often used seems to be "Täh?" = "Huh?" since I don't seem to hear what people are saying. I should get my hearing checked (my sister said I should).
9. Have you ever felt that your hobby is too much and that you do not connect well with your dolls?
Some individual dolls have been really difficult to connect with. I had one time that I felt that I spend too much time in internet doll sites and too little time with real life but that has had a better balance since. It was years ago. I've never thought I should leave the hobby, I guess it is more like a way of living these days than just a hobby.
10. You are going for a trip, a week long, and you can only take ONE doll with you. Which one and why?
I try to pick different dolls each time even if I'm super tempted to pick the same ones than last time. Last time it was Tiffany becouse she had new clothes (or clothes I hadn't photographed properly yet). I think next one would be one of either Minifee girls or Tinyfairy girls. I usually see what clothes they have on and if I could change them so that the combination would be more interesting and nice to photograph. Also depends where I'm going, like for the next journey back to my parent's home it would be really weird to take a tiny doll with me since there's so much snow they'd be lost in it. Propably I'd pick one of my Tinyfairy girls. I'm wanting to make them more winter clothes (sorry boys ^^;;; ) or such so I can actually pick one or two with me. Some of them goes in duo's like Maya and Mimosa. :D
11. What's your earliest childhood memory?
Gosh, this is difficult one. I think one is from Tampere at the Särkänniemi Dolphinarium when a staff person came to ask me if I would like to go there to give a fish to the dolphins. I remember holding to my mom and not wanting to go, I was a shy kid. After we saw the show and what I would've have done I regretted not going becouse the girl who actually went there got a huge inflatable dolphin. :D LOL!
I want to nominate these people to Liebster Award (if you have been nominated before and already done it, link that back to me and I'll go to see your post! ^__^)

My question to you are:
1. What sort of book would you make from your dolls?
2. What size of doll would you prefer if you could only have one size?
3. Have you ever been in doll event? (Dolls Party, LDoll, etc)
4. Do you have nicknames for your dolls?
5. Is there anything that you'd like to learn to make yourself for your dolls that you currently don't? (Clothes, shoes, face up, furniture etc).
6. If you would bump into dolls NOW and find them interesting, which doll would you buy? And is it different than the one you did?
7. Have you been belittled by anyone becouse you have dolls?
8. Where do you photograph your dolls? Do you have favourite spot in/out?
9. Do you keep your dolls out of sight or somewhere where you can see them continuously?
10. Is there one doll that got away? Why?
11. Are you happy how your dolls look or do you want to change their looks all the time?

Lovely answers!!
ReplyDeleteI was also a shy kid when I was little and regretted many things after hahaha but oh well, we survived and now you can get all the inflatable dolphins you want :D! XD
The baked skin from Blue fairy is so pretty!! I've always thought about getting one of those releases, but in the end they always find me poor.
I used to dislike rap too but after I listened to Hamilton original cast recording, I'm hooked, at least with those songs, I don't think I'd listen to any other rap thing. I love that they did the debates as rap battles with Jefferson against Hamilton. Anyways, I won't make you hear it, the whole point was that I've ended up listening to things I never though I would haha :D
Thank you for reading. :D Oh gosh how shy I was, I don't know how would've I turned out if I went to the stage with the dolphins and got the inflatable dolphin. I think I can survive without it now. :D But maybe summer! Never know!
Delete;) Bluefairies can be addictive, I still want some! :D I'd wish they would make the ones that I want, but not anytime soon. LOL
Now you make me want to listen what kind of that Hamilton thing is. I am curious about if people recommend me things, maybe I'll find out about that later. :)
Lovely answers and great questions!
ReplyDeleteAnd that pizza seems to be so yummy!! I must try it! Also, I do hope you will have a great time on LDoll this year again :D
I will answer your questions on Saturday!
Thank you. :D
DeleteI'm sure LDoll will be as much fun as in previous events. That is so exiting to go there again. :D
I look forward to read your answers. ^-^
Haha, I'm always struggling with deciding who of my dolls/figures gets to go on a trip with me. And it almost always ends up being Remy! :'D
ReplyDeleteOooh you got this tag too! And you tagged me, I just noticed! I already made a post of this tag, as you've noticed, but I also got tagged by Fyrd so I'll answer to your questions as well! Because I like answeing questions! :D
...and if you'd like to answer mine, then please do. If not, no sweat, as some of what I came up with are a little similar to what you already answered to (that music-question and what cheers you up-question).
:D I just love answering questions so I'd be happy to make another post about it. xD (I'm somewhat addicted to tags and want to answer more! Can't resist!).
Delete...and whut! It just dawned to me that I hadn't added myself as a follower to your blog yet or added your blog to my Spica Reads-blog roll! Well, I've set things right now! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :D
DeleteThanks for doing this tag! And I'm one of those "Täh?"-persons too. Mostly the Swedish version of that, "Va?". My kids often role their eyes (with love of course) and laugh saying: "oh, mum". :D
ReplyDeleteQuestion 7, an interesting one. At starters they wonder what I'm doing with dolls but after some explaining they seem to feel a little bit awkward. The nearest and dearest know me so, they don't mind. :D
And the music, I'm so glad Bowie released some new things lately. Something I recognize and know!
:D HA! I think many finns have this "Täh?" thing going on, my sister's at Belfast and I think she still does that sometimes, but usually "Pardon?".
DeleteI feel like there are some people that I know who know about my dolls are definitely thinking that I'm below their standards. Especially someone from work, she sometimes makes these really strange comments about it. :P Most important people in my life also know me and don't do things like that. :)
I love your new questions a lot~
ReplyDeleteOhh, Ldoll seems to be so awesome, I really hope I can go this year since I've never attended it!
I find making questions first difficult but after a while I would've made even more. :D
DeleteLDoll has been fantastic in many years! ^^ I hope you can do it!
