Happy Valentine's Day

We in Finland call this day a Friend's Day (Ystävänpäivä) and it's been around since 1980's and in official calendars it's marked since 1996. People send cards and maybe give something nice for their friends, recently this day has come up second most popular day to send postcards (according to Wikipedia). I don't see my friends very often but I want to wish you all Goombastic Valentine's Day! For me it's going to be a evening shift which is really tedious but I baked some applepie to cheer us all up! ^__^

Happy Valentine's Day

Here in Finland we mostly celebrate friends in Valentine's day, as we call it "Ystävänpäivä" = "Friend's Day". I took few photos yesterday which I thought would make a good pair with a chosen text. It took me a while to find some aphorisms to fit in them. It is nice to do something special for friends and family, and of course for your partner too. ^__^ I'm baking some "mokkapala" (moccapieces?) for my boyfriend (I think we're too old for the boyfriend, should I call him my man or my spouse or SO?) and for some friends who are coming to our place to play some boardgames today.

Valentine's Day

In my head, Lukas and Kaisla are a couple, or will be in some point. Here are few pictures of them two together. Since it is Valentine's Day and all. Here in Finland this day is mostly about friends when other countries it is mostly about couples, I didn't even have any nice props but I hope they are romantic enough. ^^ I think they are cute together.
