Well Hello!

Sorry for the long silence, I think I truly needed the quiet time as the December with Little Granny's story was super intense and busy. Little Granny's props and such have been stored away for now and I've began to write next years story. It will evolve hopefully for a full story before next winter and I'll have time to photograph it early enough to have time to do other stuff on December 2019. Some Instagram action has been around, as I do find it really much easier to post with. Also trouble with Flickr and their higher price for the pro account has made me cut my photos and rework posts in this blog. It annoyed me so much, and I cut many of photos from my Flickr too. It's something I wouldn't have had to do yet. But I didn't know when will they cut the photos so I already did that. I'll be uploading some more photos there, but I need to think about what to post there. Lots of things going on now but I'm super happy I finally had my winter holiday! I spent my winter holiday with my parents and their cat Iines, and I had few Pureneemo dolls with me. I flew there, so I didn't want to bring any resin BJD's (of course I regretted it afterwards) becouse I already had enough DSLR stuff in my carry on bag and it's not an option to put any of my BJD in the luggage. So I went with Liisa and Jenina! They are so cute and omg how well their outfits work for the winter. I also had few funny Sumikko Gurashi figures from various sets with me too. They're so much fun. ^-^

There wasn't a proper hard cover in the snow, it was 10cm until the hard layer of frozen snow would've been there but I didn't want them to sink in there too much. I was a big worried about how their shoes would handle the snow but it seems like they were OK. Sumikko Gurashi's got more Instagram time but I did get few photos with my camera too.


They seem to enjoy the sunny day too. ^^

Mostly what I've done is a bit of sewing, some scrunchies for my hair and I already gave some to my workmates. I'll sew some more for my sister and her friends (if they want some). I feel like the fabrics I now have are not all good for doll clothing but for something else. I've been trying to sort out the stuff, selling a doll or two is in mind. Selling these days - very difficult. I had really weird encounter with a buyer who first said she'd buy and if I had spare wigs, clothes etc she'd be interested. I presented her some photos of clothes and wigs I had available in the size of the doll she wanted.. She said her granny will pay the doll and stuff, and I sent my account details for the payment. It wasn't going to go like usual sales I felt and man I was right, the granny had said this is not OK, she wants it to be posted with the option they will pay the doll when they see it (maybe she heard some horror stories about people bying from local markets and not getting the stuff they paid for I presume) - anyway it wouldn't had been good option for me, becouse I would've have to trust Finnish Post that they'll deliver me my money. I couldn't accept that, it would've been a third party money handler, and then the granny would've wanted to get my social security number.. Which I of course DIDN'T give for f*cks sake. I said that's something NOT to be given to anyone except authorities and that this sales will not be happening. I've not heard from her since, this was before Christmas, but I'm still mad. I should've said that this is something fake buyers and identity thiefs do. It's OK to be suspicious, but enough is enough. I think I said I have good feedback in Finnish forum and in DOA, but I don't know if they read it. I don't know if she's tried to buy from other people but clearly this was an experience I don't want to have again. I don't know if Finnish BJD group has any sort of scams before but gosh it was so weird and super annoying.
I'm still in the process with my SD size dolls, I don't have many, but I know MSD is the size I like most among with the Tinies. YOSD as a size is something I handle less all the time but I really love them and there's no need to let go of them. I've agreed to sell one of my Feeple60 with Chloe Elf head in layaway and I'm particularly happy that it's going to a long time friend. ^-^

I turned 40 on March 5th and I ordered a doll from Latidoll as a birthday gift for myself! Yay! I've wanted another Latidoll for quite a long time, even tough I've bought some second hand. I had ordered a Latidoll Red boy (big guy, small head) earlier years ago but apparently they didn't have my information there anymore so I had to make a new acoount. All went quite ok and now I'm waiting for Latidoll Yellow Emily in normal skin with face up. I was thinking about their Limited Honeybee Mystic Sophie but decided not to buy this time. I'm sure there'll be some cute tan Yellow size dolls later too. I have a lot of dolly years ahead! There's another doll in plans for this year if there'll come a preorder for her I'm sure I'll get one. She is Harucasting E-minor, a slim Mini. Preferably in light tan colour. These days you have to be super careful where to buy doll, especially if you're a new BJD hobbyist. This morning I read that there are people who are looking for this doll to be recasted in Russia and that artist was warned about it by someone who had heard/read about it. Don't buy recasts! It's harmful for the artists who are trying to make a living with dolls they've created. I know I'll need to save for the doll I want, but it's not impossible to do that, I'll begin saving now = I'll be able to buy her in June/July when the pre-order will be available. The doll from the real creator is worth saving for, I've saved for many dolls, and you can't always expect to have things straight away. There are also trustworthy official dealers for many companies and always do the reseach which place is safe to buy from.

She doesn't like it when I'm pointing her with the camera. That porch must've been really cold as it was around minus 10 degrees celcius. She followed me back in the house when I stopped photographing little birds. ^__^
