Dollmeet at Oodi Library

Yesterday we had a dollmeet on the central library Oodi, it is great place with different sized spaces for free use. YOu'll just have to reserve the space in their system (max 3 hours per person). And then just go there! It was quite nice space, apart from one of it's wall was aquarium type and people could see what we do there. Most people just look a little and then continue but there was a woman who was actually photographing our doll table trough the window even if one of us was staring at her like wtf are you doing woman?! Tsuki said they have meeting rooms without any big windows like that and next time we'll try to get one of those. Anyway, this meet space was booked before Valentine's day, I thought it would be good to be Valentine's meet but usually the dollmeets are on weekends becouse most of the people have weekends off. It was quite a surprise how far the meeting rooms were booked. So if we want to have for example a Little Christmas dollmeet we should be thinking about booking the space early. I'll think about that, depends most likely how many people wants to attend... Anyway! On with the show! There were 12 of us and many BJD, Azone dolls and Vinyl dolls, and even some exotic creatures. All are welcome to our dollmeets. :) It is interesting to see what sort of dolls, figures and creatures people collect.


Youpladoll Ziya belongs to Mista_Isilme. Isn't this doll beautiful? I love the look of her.




This is Withdoll Priscilla which also belongs to Mista_Isilme, cute curls! I head she is hybrid with Fairyland Minifee body.


Oh my have you seen anything this cute?! Withdoll Penn belongs to Elys.doll.


I don't know who owns this cutie but oh she is so cute! Azone Pureneemo Aika, I think?


My Azone Pureneemo Wakaba named Manta, she has the outfit of Marshmallow Bunny Minami which I sold recently. ^^;


Chloe, my Bluefairy Tinyfairy Lin. She's so cute.


Isn't this weird and maayyyybe a bit selfish as this is my third girl in the dollmeet. ^^; She's Fairyland Minifee Nanuri 14, called Alex.


This doll belongs to Tsukifly. I believe she's Volks Saber.


Pearlriverdelta's little doll. She said this isn't a resin doll, but we welcome all dolls. :) Funny little doll!


Bluefairy Tinyfairy Niky with custom face up, belongs to my friend Dollillogical.


Girls belong to Uninuunuu, especially the blue girl looks exiting. And Lillycat girl, don't know which she is but gosh so pretty!


Cuute Miu (Azone Pureneemo Frog Prince Miu, this is something I also have so I think I'm in right track with it). I have a hunch she belongs to Sherimichan.


Girl in the left belongs to Sherimichan and perhaps other bigger girl is Elys.dolls' girl. I'm not sure about the other Pureneemo's but tiny Miu is Sherimi's.


Miu is hiding behind her friend. :)


Azone Pureneemo girls, I think one in the left belongs to TheFairChildren, girl in the middle iiiissss Finchkin's and one on the right is Uninuunuu's.

The best for last, a group photo! It was great fun meet. I hope we can have a summer dollmeet too! ^-^

      Thank you Sharon. :) I'm afraid that we'll not getting back to the amount of dollmeets we used to have. I guess it's hard to find good time for most people to get together and place is always the issue. It's difficult to keep the spirits up when you have to wait two to three months for meet, since the public spaces are always booked for long. It is always so much fun tough, I love meeting dolly friends. ^-^

    What fun you must have had Xaya going by the photos. Such a diverse group of dolls, I love the dragon and the worrisome owl is so cute. It has been ages since I attended a doll meet, there doesn't seem to be as many as there used to be here, which is a shame as I always enjoyed them.

      I love dollmeets, there seems to be less of those than when I started this hobby. Of course, people are in different place in life now than 10 years ago. Also, getting together in a big group like this doesn't usually fit to anyones home so we need a space for it. :) I feel like if I want to go to a doll meet I'll need to ask from few people do they think they're ready for the next one and then make the arrangements for it. There are few of us that arrange meets and hopefully we'll have one on May too. ^__^ Thanks for reading <3 Hugs <3

    Beautiful photos and I just adore the little Withdoll Penn and the owl. I can imagine that meets like this are wonderful! Hope that you can plan for a meet during Christmas! Crazy with the photographing lady! If she would have asked, it would have been one thing, but just take photos through a window like that.

      Thanks Niina <3 :) isn't the tiny dolls so cute? It's great to see all dolls and people gathering around together. :) I'll need to check out which space is without the aquarium window, next time we don't want that around. :D And that photographing woman, it was especially weird when one of us saw her photographing trough the window and went there like you shouldn't and she still was there stalking the chance to photo.
