Tired

I've been so tired for few weeks. Last week I was visiting my parents at Kainuu and it was lovely. I had a doll with me, even tough I didn't do much with her. ^^ Emma is so pretty. Having a holiday and do nothing was difficult. I'm so used to have something to sew or do.. And being still and do nothing was so hard. I read few romantic novels and a pile of magazines my mother had. I'll try to have the sewing going on again, I have a lots of things to do and less time to do it.


I love Xiao's, and especially this smiling older one.


We had a bonfire thing going on, I hadn't been at my parent's home in Midsummer's eve for years. So it was quite special.

Anyway.. I sold my AYS Jerome, I'll ship him out on monday after work. He's going to have a home from here in Finland and he is going to be somebody's first resin BJD. I think any Bluefairy is fantastic as a first doll. They certainly have charmed me even if I have other brand dolls too. I'm thinking to want to have Cafe Bluefairy Kevin as Áron, he has similar facial features to Kyle/Jerome/Louis so he would fit to be this character. Pupa*Casa has one... so hopefully I'll be able to get the money and buy him. I wouldn't like to put him on layaway so need to wait until I have the full price saved. Gus might be a good choice too, but I'd want to have a white one with Gentle body... We'll see what happens.

I'm definitely trying to keep my line in "one of each mold of Tinyfairy". I know that's going to be hard, but at least that's the case with boys. I'm not giving up with my Lin's or Xiao's. And would love to have a baked version of both... They're the weak point. I've got double Olive and May Valentine but both baked girls now have fantastic custom face ups so they'll stay. ^^ I need to glue eyelashes for Elle, she'll look absolutely the diva she is supposed to be. ^^ I'll try to photograph her during the weekend.

First of Spring

And that is? A proper photoshoot at the Japanese style garden nearby with a friend. We both took our Jerome's with us, she took Aslan (Minoruworld Magic School Student) and I took Tobias (basic Jerome) and Áron (At Your Service Jerome). I also had Emma (basic Xiao) and Noah (Walking with November Tommy) with me. It was great fun! ^^ I've also had great spirit on sewing for Ily and she will need her dress finished with glass beads and such. I will need to buy few other shades of beads, I only have clear and I'd love to have some shimmering light pink and white ones too...

Anyway, to the shoot! I'll put here only few photos and you can go and check the rest from my Flickr. I do wonder how you can make a cut here, I've seen those but don't know how to do that.

At Your Service

I got the best trade ever today.

I've had a little special friend visiting me and my boyfriend. She showed me all the pretty doll clothes she'd taken with her from her home-home. It was very interesting to check out all the little details from her doll clothes. She then pulls out the Your Kyle set's clothes and ponders that she doesn't need that but wouldn't really want to let it go either. We both admired the great craftmanship and checked out the lovely details. We talked about some clothes and shoes and such that dolls come with and I showed her Rose May's default clothes.

Even tough I love the clothes that come with Limited Tinyfairies, I've sometimes splitted the clothes with someone when I've bought the set, becouse my dolls hardly wear the style most of the clothes are. When I bought Mimosa [Rose May Valentine], I first thought I'd split the clothes with someone, but at the time I was able to buy her there wasn't anyone who wanted the split. Since I was able to buy the set on my own, I bought it and didn't think about the clothes. Mimosa came home and the clothes were on her for few days until I began to sew her something other to wear..

Aiy kinda fell in love for the little bonnet and petticoat and kinda started suggesting that ooo if this would be something to trade with she might trade her Your Kyle outfit for Rose May Valentine clothes. :D I asked if I could try the clothes on Áron to think about it a little and consider about letting go the set I had... Must I say more? I said that I will trade the clothes before I got the whole outfit on him! xD

We both thought it was a bit painfull to let our sets go, but as she said, she didn't have a boy doll to use the outfit and my outfit simply wasn't the style my dolls would wear, the best thing for both of us is to trade the outfits. I'm so very happy! ^^ I've been drooling this outfit for so long and since I already bought Your Kyle and the extra fabulous Jerome which came with that set from her, I'm most proud owner of the boys and the outfit. Áron and Lukas will propably use the outfit, as well as Angus when he comes home, since this trio has the Dandy body which is needed for the pants.

We both came very satisfied with this trade and I'm so very happy about how handsome Áron looks now! >w< I will take some pictures when we get better light, hopefully tomorrow. ^^ <3 Thanks Aiy, you're so very special.

Random shots of Áron. ^^ He is so cute. I managed to put him on a decent natural pose and I'm happy about that. He could be even more relaxed and natural but that was good enough for now.

I didn't buy the new Bluefairy Girl's Secret set. :P I wanted to, real bad, and I had enough money too. But that would've ment that I propably would had to save too much from the food budjet. I really can't do that. So, I didn't buy one. But a friend of mine did! :D And I'll still be able to see at least that one.

I'm now concentrating on my current dolls and think about their appereances, clothes and personalities. I've been drawing some pictures of them too to get to know them better. ^^

Áron

Oh boy I felt lucky when I was offered, yes, offered this boy by a fellow hobbyist. A friend of mine knew that I had been really interested in At Your Service series Kyle and Jerome, and when she felt like it was time to part from Jerome, she offered him for me to purchase. MAN! Did I want him! Yes! I concider myself a lucky person in many ways, but in Tinyfairy-wise, I just might be damn lucky.


He has been a bit... well.. Alone? He has the right wig and eyes, he has clothes but the poor boy doesn't have much attention yet. Maybe it is becouse he is my second Jerome. I do love him dearly. Áron feels like he is the silent, strong big brother. I think I'll keep him that way. I love Jerome mold, sooo much. I have to admit that he has had way too little attention but that will certainly change. I took some pictures of him now since he has been neglected. He looks somehow mature and calm. I'm glad I started this project for my Tinyfairies, it makes me think of their charachters more. ^^

Background story:
Áron and his brother Miio has lived in the house together for a year now. They're too in Tobias' school. Áron is older but Miio is in the same class as Tobi. Áron is strong silent type young man. Áron does think he has the responsibility to take care of his brother and sister, tough Miio says he takes things too seriously. Áron has a job, he likes to make his own income, parent's don't give him steady allowance so a little something to do sometimes is okay for him. In his spare times he likes to play videogames and spend time with his girlfriend.
