Summer Holiday 2016 part 2

I posted some Mimmi and Emmi photos in previous entry and next will be Jaya, Bluefairy Tinyfairy Xiao. She's special girl, I bought her from Den of Angels market place quite soon after the release of Midsummer Night's Dreaming Limited and I love her so much! ^^ I would've bought both Lin and Xiao but I thought I didn't have enough money for both so I didn't buy her straight from the BF shop, I'm glad I found her from the DOA MP. ANyway, great memories and Jaya is adorable! Even more so with this new shorter wig. I still have her longer one but I quite adore this one. :)


I especially love her face up, the eye make up is delightfully different from most of the default face ups. Her eyebrows have been darkened on top of the original ones and I really like that a lot. ^^

Emma's Winter Style

Oh gosh, I've sewn the pencil skirt for my Tinyfairy girls a long time ago but never decided who should wear it! Finally I decided Emma would be the girl in need of that skirt and she'd definitely need a blouse to go with it. I sew her a black turtle neck blouse, very easy design and dressed her and hurried to photograph her in the balcony! The temperature has gone up to about minus 4 celcius and that's not bad, I think it was minus 21 when I last photographed Mimmi and Armi outside few days ago. Emma would need a jacket or coat thing to go with this. I have one coat but I didn't try it on her yet. :P I might take a nap, feeling a bit tired. Anyhow, here are some photos!


Emma is Bluefairy Tinyfairy Xiao, 1st edition with slightly smiley mouth. :) You can't see it that much in these photos but comparing her to my second Xiao which is the first renewed version the smile is visible.

My Matryoshkas

Man today's been really clowdy and rainy too but I photographed Jaya (Xiao) and Sylvia (May) today anyway. I changed their clothes and put those scarfs around their heads. Somehow they remind me of Russian Matryoshka dolls and that's so funny! ^^ I really like this style of scarfs (tube scarf) and loooong scarfts anyway really much. :D Few photos of them two. I am linking the photos from Flickr, since I think they are nicer when the photos are bigger. ^__^

Bluefairy - Lunar Eclipse Sleeping Olive and Olive Valentine

I must say that I'm always interested what Bluefairy will make next! Olive is super cute as Sleeping and even cuter with Valentine version, I am sucker for squinty eye dolls! Here is their sales page. I do like the dolls a lot, their clothes are beautiful as always in Bluefairy style. What I'd really would love to see is some cute Mori style clothes, more like what they have on their Morigirl Olive. I also noticed that even if sometimes I don't really need the limited edition clothes, I love them so much I will regret if I let them go. That happened with few outfits and I really regretted it later on.

Anyway I've not been writing about Bluefairy dolls lately, I guess I've concentrated more for my Fairyland dolls but don't worry! I do have them in my heart for ever. ^^ Please make this - event was and were, I didn't write what I wanted, obviously for financial reasons! I didn't have any finances for new doll at that point, I think, and I'm so glad they didn't make Lin then. I didn't have finances for Baked Pocketfairy Jimmy or the TF Mans suit, oh how much I drooled that outfit! I haven't really played with my Pocketfairies that much but I really love their size! I would love to have more, but I know I would do more with my TF's and Minifees so I guess that will have to wait until later on. I'm afraid Bluefairy will make Lin in Order made section when I have no finances to order her in tan, so I'm trying to gather finances for mostly everything. I want the bodies for my FL rollers and I want to buy baked Lin when she's available and if there happens to be Lin and Xiao at the same time in order period I just would have to get both. In baked skin. They would be so devine! I'd make them twins since Lin is Xiao's Valentine version basically.

I'd really want to photograph my dolls more, but I still have to work with the table and the background a little or go somewhere outside, propably would want to have some company to go becouse it's always so awkward to go alone. And I need to change their clothes, most of them. Most definitely! Maya and Mimosa have had their "default" outfits for too long! But they are so cute! ^^

I've been sewing some jeans lately, there are some photos in my Instagram. I must warn you, there are some shots that are not only from dolls (like my face :P). As I love baking and my parent's cat and nature and other stuff. I will try to finish those jeans and some other garments to go with them and then take proper photos of them. I love the jeans fabric I currently have, it is super thin cotton and it doesn't stretch. Like not at all! I had to adjust the seam allowance for many times while sewing. But soon they will be finished, hopefully tomorrow and I can sew other things. >w< So exited to do stuff! Which reminds me I need to wash some fabrics before I decide what to sew! :D

Bluefairy Gus and some Lati Yellow

I'm hoping Bluefairy will keep the no-make up Gus head in stock until Saturday. I'm going to make a little order since I really want that boy in normal skin... If they'd make a baked skin with Gentle body I might be after that... but at the moment I don't want to miss him. I already have two Xiao's from which one is the old smiley one and one is the first renewal Xiao after that. Also... baked Xiao and baked Lin would definitely be in my list to get if there's ever going to be a release of those. Money is only problem, but I think that's how it goes. You just can't buy everything.. but you wish you could!

Marcus' (Robin) head was shipped out last week to Shibya's, and she received the head so I'll be waiting for some updates in the future for the face up. ^^

It seems like we didn't have more than week of sun shining and nice crisp cold and then became this sloppy looking spring with grey weather. I wish some bright and sunny days so I could just get some light. I haven't actually been sewing as much as I would've wanted. I'll have very little of summer holiday, a week or so, so the time for sewing has decreased from the small amount I've had until now. Last year I had to push myself a lot to get the stock I wanted. I don't want to drive myself to the burn out. I'd love to sew some pretty clothes for my own dolls too, since some of them are totally without any clothing, Gentle bodied boys do need some jeans or trousers. And Minifee girls will need some nice clothes too.

I still would need to photograph some clothes to my Etsy shop. I have quite a lot of things that didn't sell at LDoll and some of the stuff has been around for quite a while. I'd love to get rid of the SD boy jeans, maybe I should borrow a Super Gem from a friend and get few photos... *sigh* SD boy jeans or trousers are clearly something I shouldn't sew since they don't sell. And I have loads of stuff I should photograph and put up for sale at our forum... Somehow they just pile up. And are really difficult to get rid off.


Leni and Bijou got some new stuff from Dollheart Fukuburo's I bougth with a friend. Bijou got a new wig, but I'm certainly keeping the fuzzy wig for her/him too. Bijou doesn't know who s/he is yet.

I got some really nice wigs from the Fukuburo and theyyy just might need some little Lati's to fill them up. Do Lati wigs fit to Pukifee...? I could get one of those too, since I don't yet have any... yet.

Quiet

I really like mornings, especially on weekends. My SO is still sleeping even tough it is already well past the time he should wake up (that's what I think). It's been cold and finally we got some snow in Helsinki. I'm a bit surprised how much I missed it when we didn't have any. Anyway... I do enjoy the sight a lot, frostry trees. ^^

I went to Roihuvuori Japanese style garden with my friend Luna a while back and I had some Tinyfairies with me.




Sylvia thought it was too cold. ^^ hehe.










They are best friends.











I'm pleased for their outfits, I think I need to sew more things like this... Mori Girl kinda things. It worked out really nicely for them. And some coats too...

In other news, I'm going to have the Robin I ordered from Pupa*casa white order. I was asked for the confirmation of order and shipping address, so now I'm just waiting for the tracking number and confirmation from them that he has been shipped out. I guess it can take some time. I don't mind waiting, I think with this hobby you need to be patient with everything. He has a name, his name is Marcus, and he is the big brother of Mimosa. We'll see how he will be. I think he will work at Le Petit Café. I know Àron doesn't, and he came with the outfit so he will need some other clothes. I don't know about the wig, I have few pairs of eyes in stock to be tried on Marcus.. But we'll see. ^^ I don't want to rush things, need to think about his face up too.

Some random Doll Thoughts...

I know I haven't been really creative with my posts lately, excuse me for my lack of creativeness... And small apology for not updating my shop, it's been so dark and raining all the time so I haven't had any good chance to photograph. Also, I've participated in few meets where I've sold some of the leftovers, I'm glad they are selling a little by little. ^^ Keep tuned, I'll go visit Tallinn next weekend and Oh boy I'm sure I'll find some nice crafting and sewing materials for doll clothes. I've already gotten a friend asking for white (not natural white) tulle skirt so maybe there's something like that coming out... ;)

Bluefairy had a Special Order release of three Tiny Fairies and one Blue Fairy. Lunar reminds me mostly about Olive. I like her. Tiny Fairy Isabel, Allan and Berry, well I'm not sure about them. I've seen one owner photo shoot from Berry, which was cuter than I thought but not yet the other ones. Isabel could fit into my group as one of Elle's friends... I'd need to get into story telling I guess. So I can open up the life of my dolls which are currently living in my head only. ^^; The Le Petit Café needs a good backdrop as well as setting that I should be able to put together if I needed. Also. I'm glad I bought Kevin so I can now have two boys for the shop in the real clothes. ^^ I love both clothes sets, they're so lovely. I definitely need new shoes for both tho. XD The shoes that came with Kevin are the Oxford shoes and man they are long from the toe part... WAY too big for normal TF feet.

Anyway, I was thinking about maybe giving out few thougths about new Bluefairy releases...? Not that people really want to hear but I'll tell you what I think! xD

Alice Noma and Alice Remmy are super cute, but I think Alice as a theme is a little bit old. I really do think there's the customer for everything, but as a theme it's used a lot by all companies. It's of course a classic, but.. Anyway, maybe it's just my head. They've used it once for Little Alice Kitty and with the Who Stole the Tarts series with super cute Jimmy with Xiao-Queen. The clothes of course are cute, I love the striped socks and the apron, dress is really nice in the new version of Alice. More I like the old Alice Kitty's face up. I find the orange around the eyes in many of their latest releases a bit disturbing. Pretty, but I think I'd have to ask customiser to do another face up or darken it a little with other color. That Xiao & Jimmy set I would've wanted to have with all treats, with both dolls, clothes and everything. ;) Patricia set would've been the other that I really loved, I love that dark set, really nice!

Bluefairy has made a lot of new Theme Specials, the one that mostly interests me is MoriGirl Olive. How adorable outfit! I wish I'd see more of those. I still drool over the Lin in Snowflake Variation from Sora*Iro set AND the Lin herself! I really love LIN!!! I'm so glad I was one of those who ordered Midsummer Night's Dreaming Lin back at 2006. Kaisla is special.



First School Sam and Leila are adorable, and the clothes are cuuute! I'm so glad I decided that I "need" Sam in normal skin version. ;) Maybe I'll get into that business next year. I still haven't bought the Emilie I thought I'd buy this year... But I have all the time in the world. Need other things too. A lot of them.

Ahem.. then to another Bluefairy, since BF is releasing the Dorothy May Valentine. Wow, so much stuff in so short notice! I like Dorothy May, she's adorable as May V's are. Her dress is really nice too, I like it's classic lines a lot. And you chan choose a body, I spy some people's doom there for sure. ^^ If I hand't two May V's already I might be doomed. I'm sure glad I'll be safe this time.

Many new releases from Bluefairy, I find it difficult to keep up with them! I was a bit bummed when BF said they'll not make any more of Misty Rose releases since that's maybe my favourite resin color from them. I do the others too.. but Misty Rose I'd pick if I could. Oh wells... ^^ I'm still happy I have three Misties in my gang.

First of Spring

And that is? A proper photoshoot at the Japanese style garden nearby with a friend. We both took our Jerome's with us, she took Aslan (Minoruworld Magic School Student) and I took Tobias (basic Jerome) and Áron (At Your Service Jerome). I also had Emma (basic Xiao) and Noah (Walking with November Tommy) with me. It was great fun! ^^ I've also had great spirit on sewing for Ily and she will need her dress finished with glass beads and such. I will need to buy few other shades of beads, I only have clear and I'd love to have some shimmering light pink and white ones too...

Anyway, to the shoot! I'll put here only few photos and you can go and check the rest from my Flickr. I do wonder how you can make a cut here, I've seen those but don't know how to do that.

Jaya

My second limited series doll is Jaya, she is from the same series as Kaisla; Midsummer night's Dreaming series Xiao. She came with only her default wig and eyes, this clothes set are from Kaisla's set. I found her mold and especially face up interesting. It has been enchanged a little, eyebrows has been darkened a little and her upper lashes has been changed since they were a little squished. Her original look was blonde but I wanted her to be redhead so she now has a bit darker eyebrows to fit her wig better. She doesn't have a big story, but a little something anyway.

Background story:
Jaya is Sylvia's friend from the harem. Her mother was the woman whom Sylvia travelled with to her Holiday and disappeared by her and Tiffany's help. When Jaya's mother was sure that Sylvia was safe, she sent Jaya to follow her and to take care of her. They were friends back then too, but after Sylvia's beating they started to grow apart. Sylvia began to curl up inside and be afraid of everything, Jaya had to sleep with her in the same room to calm her down when she was waking up screaming at night. It was tough time for both girls and Jaya was left very worried when her mother came home without Sylvia. So, Jaya came to live in the house and is now trying to recover their friendship.
