Fleur - Fairyland Minifee Juri 08 11/24

I know I'm super lucky to have this doll, the Juri 2008 is very highly desired doll that if you really want one you'll have to pay a lot. I was so happy my friend Uninu sold this head for me. I borrowed the money from a friend as I didn't have the price of the head at that time. I of course paid my friend back as soon as I could but getting this particular doll sculpt back made me cry. I had sold my first one becouse I needed money to travel back to my parents home as mom was sick and dad needed me to go there since he was going trough some tough times too. I'm glad I could be with mom, but I still regretted selling the doll I originally bought, so Fleur is my second Juri 08, just she didn't meet the first one. Juri 08 is a one special sculpt as it resembles the original 2005 Juri so much, I find the facial features especially cute. And the elf ears, they're something that got my attention too.

Her face up is made by Jesmo, eyes are resin eyes in 14mm, wig and clothes made by me and the super cute shoes by Summomo. Fleur looks really cute in anything she wears and I will be writing more about this outfit later on, as this is not only one I sewed a while back.

Christmas Holiday

Christmas holiday was and went and I'm happy that I took one resin doll with me among my two Neemos. I had received a beautiful gift from my friend Maria's mother (Fairy Style), I received an awesome gift from them at LDoll some years ago; a hat, scarf and absolutely the tiniest perfect mittens I've ever seen. Not to put less attention for Fleur's current outfit I won from Junipa's giveaway. These beautiful items are worth full photoshoot and where to photograph the outfit in "action", what would've been better than snowy Finland, my parent's home yard. First day didn't have good light but the second day was really nice even tough all the time it was cloudy.

Sorted Out the Cookie thing - And Some Doll News

Thanks to Musume I'm saved from the stupid cookie thing. It shows up if you're in EU area, I was so stressed about that it didn't come into my mind that I could've asked from my friends if they see it and that would've saved me from much head ache. Thank you! Finally I'm able to post new things. xP I was so annoyed about it I couldn't think of posting new stuff before I could figure out how to make this information showing to others. Gladly I'm just stupid, and there are a lot of smarter people to help me out. Gosh. Didn't really think about it at all! I also apologize about being sho whiny about stuff. U_U Only fair to say so. That must've been annoying!

NOW. To DOLLS!!!

I fell for another doll which was not planned. YES. Sorry. XD I'm so bad but it was a great deal! I bought a Feeple 70 boy body with Soom Saiph head. I've already agreed of selling the head to someone but the body I keep for myself. I've already changed the elastics and put in a turn-key neckpiece I got recently. I also bought an old Delf Moon head to the body, so he will soon be full doll. I am replacing the SA Hound with this doll, but I doubt I'll keep his name with the Moon. I'm not sure yet of the name of the guy but that'll come out eventually. I have few suggestions in my mind and I do have some eyes and maybe Hound's wig will be recycled to this guy. I'm also finally decided to sell the Juri 05 head that got replaced with DES. I haven't put in any official sales posts yet, other than to our Finnish group. I wish I could sell both in here in Finland, it would be a lot easier. I also put the SA Hound head I ruined for sale... Poor guy, maybe someone could save him or do something with him. He changed his colour when I was trying to face up him, and he was left in a sunny room without a proper shade. Anyway, something comes and something goes, that how it is. :D Oh, and the Feeple 70 body also fitted to the clothes I sewed for the old Hound body! That was super great! Sleeves of the shirt were a bit too long, but they don't look bad. I will photograph him as soon as the head arrives, it'll come from Canada so it might take few weeks for him to arrive. ^^ Gosh I'm exited, he has Luts face up and I really liked that a lot. I wonder how will he match with the body, from what I could see from the photos that was taken the match could be OK.

I visited a friend recently, and we talked about much things, also doll things. I had Irma and Armi with me and we took few photos from our dolls. ^^

Poor Armi was worried her sister had fallen on the table.

Irma and the Boyz. :D What a great band name! Shiwoo, El, Kyle, Tan El and Juri 08, all boys, and Irma, Siean elf. Definitely a woman.

Silence - over?

The so called radio waves have been quite silent from my part, mostly becouse my PC broke and I haven't been able to access all my links and such. Ah the shame the shame! I also don't have all of the passwords and such memorised (SAD) so I'm waiting for my SO to save my PC, he already swithced in power but he thinks there's something else wrong so I need to wait some more... *sigh* I have my photos all there, but I miss all the links and such. xP

Anyway, things going on: participating on LDoll again!!! Exiting! This year, as I've not been sewing anything for sale, I've had time to concentrate to the contests. I've already sent them my entry for the photo contest "Secret Garden" and I'm working on my entry to the customisation contest "White Party" - festive events on color white, to create a fullset, not necessary to sew or otherwise create all the parts by yourself. "The customization contest is not a sculpting contest, painting contest or sewing contest. It is not mandatory for contestants to have created the elements they assemble to make their fullest." I bet they're going to have tons of wedding dresses since that would fit the theme perfectly. I have only taken few photos of my outfit, since I don't want to show it anywhere yet. I'm hoping to get in the finals but I doubt I will, there are so GOOD participants every year. It's very tough contest I'm sure. I still have things to do a lot! So I hope I can finish my entry this weekend and photograph it next week... ^^; I'm kinda late with this since the deadline is on August 31st.

I've made a list about new eyes and things that I need. And I've also peeked in some private exhibitors and proffessionals to see what they will have for sale AND I've reserved some items so it will be easier to make a budget for shopping. Oh so exiting! It would be great if I find most of the things I'm looking for. ^w^

I have some eyes, wigs and such to catch, and these guys at the bottom row are going to have some.

I've already named Minifee Sarang, Nanuri 14 and Yder elf but they will be remaining just for me until they get some bodies and face ups etc. My Tinyfairy Gus (head only for now) will need a name too, but I think I will need to take him out from his bubble wraps and then see what he likes to be. ^^

Bluefairy has announced they will have a renewal to their bodies. MAN I do hope they'll keep the old bodies as option!! I do love them so much, I do like variation but I'm afraid I don't like the new ones as much as the old. I'm exited and interested to see what they're up to. Also, I find their new Tinyfairy Torso something I denfinitely want to have! My dolls, especially girls have some outfits that I LOVE absolutely to bits and it would be so cool to have them on display.


So pretty legs! ^^ I went to photograph Daphne and Tia with a friend, you can find more photos from my Flicr. I just noticed I didn't photgraph the girls together. *sigh* So stupid to notice that afterwards.

Hanami at Roihuvuori 2014

I was at Roihuvuori's Hanami again this year. (In case you're wondering Roihuvuori's Japanese style garden is one of my favourite places to photograph dolls, and the Hanami is also held nearby there). It's been one of the most interesting and fun events. Chatting with friends and photographing dolls. This time I had Fleur with me. I sewed her a new dress, I had been saving this lovely tulle lace for something special and.. this became the special! ^^ I love the dress even if it is difficult to stay over her boobs. Tends to slip down, the darn thing. But, it is pretty! ^^ And oh she's sooo cute! I'm so happy I have her with me. ;w;



















Her wig was bought from JPopdolls, eyes from Enchanted Doll Eyes and shoesies from Summomo's stand last year at LDoll. Oooh I love them shoes! ^^ Going to need to buy some more for my Minifee's. I have my order shipped out recently, and I'm waiting for it to arrive so I can pay the custom fees. Also, I'd love to try to make shoes myself but have no idea where to begin.

Face Ups

I got four heads home today. Jesmoth was working and I went there to pick them up. It was nice to have a chat, ^^ I think we sould have a little meet too! :D

Anyway, I can't describe how fantastic the face ups became, I described some of the face ups with quite many words and man the results!!!! =w= WAAAA I almost cried when I saw them girls and Dirk!


Dirk first. I didn't give any reference photos or detailed descriptions, just that thick eyebrows, the color should be either black-brown or black-grey for the oriental skin, very little blush to the cheeks and manly lips. xD More I look at him, more I like him! ^^ Oh wow, now he has a face! He needs new strings, and some more clothes. ^^ Yay.


For Fleur I wished similar as the Juri 08 I previously had, I really liked that head so I wished similar, just a bit darker eyebrows and lashes. Ah she's just perfect. =w= I don't know if these eyes will stay, I'm still thinking maybe a bit darker brown like she used to have... The wig I like, I cut the bangs a bit, but I didn't dare to cut them more, I don't want to ruin them.


I used to have a normal skin DES head, sadly she just stayed as head for long and I sold her, and I gave the photo for reference, I liked the eyebrows shape on the reference but wished for J to use her magic with the lashes and dark red to the lips. ^^ And glitter too! I really love how this girl came out. Uuuh I'm so happy!


For Hortensia, I gave quite spesific few things that I wanted. The Sandman's Death's spiral thing under her right eye, a bit gothic or so feeling, but clearly not as full smoky face up as Irma has. Hortensia is young and I wanted that to show in the face up also. She's going to have the M-line body with cutie bust, so I think that would fit her young look perfectly.

I'm going to sew them some clothes and then photograph them more. ^^ Irma and Hortensia are currently at the storage box to wait for their bodies. I wish they'll not take too long now. It is about two months wait now so it shouldn't take that long. Fleur gets to keep the body she's in, tough it's not perfect match colorwise. I don't mind. Some scarfs, long wig and such will do! Ah how wonderful it is to get back to sewing for my own dolls. ^^

Bluefairy Gus and some Lati Yellow

I'm hoping Bluefairy will keep the no-make up Gus head in stock until Saturday. I'm going to make a little order since I really want that boy in normal skin... If they'd make a baked skin with Gentle body I might be after that... but at the moment I don't want to miss him. I already have two Xiao's from which one is the old smiley one and one is the first renewal Xiao after that. Also... baked Xiao and baked Lin would definitely be in my list to get if there's ever going to be a release of those. Money is only problem, but I think that's how it goes. You just can't buy everything.. but you wish you could!

Marcus' (Robin) head was shipped out last week to Shibya's, and she received the head so I'll be waiting for some updates in the future for the face up. ^^

WOW! I'm eagerly waiting for them to complete. ^___^

It seems like we didn't have more than week of sun shining and nice crisp cold and then became this sloppy looking spring with grey weather. I wish some bright and sunny days so I could just get some light. I haven't actually been sewing as much as I would've wanted. I'll have very little of summer holiday, a week or so, so the time for sewing has decreased from the small amount I've had until now. Last year I had to push myself a lot to get the stock I wanted. I don't want to drive myself to the burn out. I'd love to sew some pretty clothes for my own dolls too, since some of them are totally without any clothing, Gentle bodied boys do need some jeans or trousers. And Minifee girls will need some nice clothes too.

I still would need to photograph some clothes to my Etsy shop. I have quite a lot of things that didn't sell at LDoll and some of the stuff has been around for quite a while. I'd love to get rid of the SD boy jeans, maybe I should borrow a Super Gem from a friend and get few photos... *sigh* SD boy jeans or trousers are clearly something I shouldn't sew since they don't sell. And I have loads of stuff I should photograph and put up for sale at our forum... Somehow they just pile up. And are really difficult to get rid off.


Leni and Bijou got some new stuff from Dollheart Fukuburo's I bougth with a friend. Bijou got a new wig, but I'm certainly keeping the fuzzy wig for her/him too. Bijou doesn't know who s/he is yet.

I got some really nice wigs from the Fukuburo and theyyy just might need some little Lati's to fill them up. Do Lati wigs fit to Pukifee...? I could get one of those too, since I don't yet have any... yet.

New Dolls

So, I said in the previous post that I'd be posting about new dolls? YES! I bought a doll from LDoll 4, he was there back at the Think Pink booth. I knew they are an official dealer for Bluefairy but what I didn't expect was that they had a limited doll with them! The second I saw him - BANG - I knew I lost it. I went completely bonkers, I had thought I'd buy Cafe Bluefairy Kevin from Pupa*Casa but I couldn't resist him then and there. I had to think about buying him, and yes, someone said "I knew you're coming back to get him", and was right.


Here is new Áron, he used to be the At Your Service Jerome, but since I sold the Jerome, I planned to get him as new Áron. ^^ I think they look so adorable together with Emma. Usually I'm quite picky about the size of their faces, but I really don't mind him having a little bit smaller face. Reminds me of the round girl faces I've seen in some Manga, while the boy faces are usually more narrow.


I need to begin sewing some trousers and jeans for Gentle body. AND also hotglue and do some tricks for his legs. MAN they're sloppy legs of doom! While my other Tinyfairies are very solid in standing on their own, Gentle body legs are something that needs re-stringing and possibly wiring too.

I also bought a lovely light grey cardigan from Fairy Style booth, got a little trade with lovely Summomo (fabulous little shoesies!!!), three wigs from JPopdolls and three pairs of eyes from Enchanted Doll eyes. ^^ I'll certainly try get better photographs from the stuff I bought. Fleur already has her eyes even if she doens't have her own body or face up yet. :D

Also, I came home at night on 8th (tuesday) and went to my parent's home on 9th, midday, which ment I really didn't have time to do much things with anything. I got the flu while I was at my parent's home and thus I slept well and followed the cat. ^^ I was highly amused by Iines again.



Also, when I was there at the north, I thought that I'd check out my order from Fairyland and... it was shipped. Wow, so many nice things happening at once. I now have two full Minifees, from which the normal skin body is shared by many heads. I have Irma (Siean Elf Valentine event head, back from her spa trip at Jesmo's, fabulous fabulous!!!), Lulu (Soo), Fleur (Juri 08) and the childish featured Juri 13. My new Dark Elf Soo girl in tan is fantastic. I'm really happy I got her. I'm sure I'll have more elf eared pretties in the future but DES has always been one of the "classics".


Also, PukiPuki Ante, which I bought to fill my order came to stay... I already gave her to Jesmo for face up and I'm sure she'll be fantastic. Her name is Butterfly, but her friends call her Bug. I think she's from Armi's pal..


DES' name is Mariette, Juri 13 doesn't have a name yet and definitely she should be in the Moe line body with very small boobs. I think it would suit her young looking face really nicely. I think .. she might be related to Irma. xD I already planned her wig and face up a little... We'll see, I might have to make an order to SweetNeat to get another wig. ^^ Anyway... so far so good.

I also participated to Pupa*Casa white Choice Tinyfairy event and ordered Robin with no make up and Gentle body... Exiting times ahead! :D I try not to think about him at all, becouse I know it will take at least 70 businessdays or even longer. I don't mind waiting. ^^ I have plenty to play with and a lot to do with the shop!

A little bit of...

Face upping... I really still don't like to do this, but I'm quite happy how she turned out. Less eyeshadow would've been better but I'm glad I did this today. It was mostly shiny day and glad I could do this in one day. And glued in the lashes. Maybe I'll get something decent done for Dirk and Fleur too later. ^^



She's Minifee Soo I bought a while back, only head at the time being. I'd need few bodies still. Irma (MNF Siean Elf) and Fleur (Juri 08) would also need bodies. I wish Fairyland will still sell Moe line bodies since I wish to swap the bust pieces so that Irma would have the boobs she needs. Ahem.

Soo's name is Lulu. Lulu and some of the Tinyfairy gils and boys will be modelling the LDoll stuff I sewed and I'm going to begin photographing next week. I hope I'll be able to update some photos before weekend. Time goes so fast. ^^ Today was a happy day.

Fairyland and some Bluefairy news~

I'm really much liking Minifee's and I hugely regret selling my Minifee Juri 08 when I had to. *sigh* If there's one doll I regret selling, that's definitely her. I've sold many dolls but the ones that really have left me wondering what I actually did were the Juri and Yder elf vampire. I still have the Yder elf hanging around... I don't do much with him, but he is enchanting. I've thought about selling all my big dolls but now I'm in a situation that I don't want to sell any of them. I had thougth about selling Mikiko (my second Juri 05) but after I got her back from Immarre I was left thinking about how on earth did I think about such thing!

She's a mother kind of a girl, so I'm secretly thinking about getting Elf Ante as her daughter. They would be SO adorable together. xD I'd need to get her a lighter coloured wig or something to match her eyebrows, as well as her sister Akiko would need a little touch up. I'd need to ask my friend to darken them from her sister at least.

I'd "need" to have Minifee girl and boy a lot. I've been eyeing out some molds, Dark Elf Soo is something I love in bigger size too. I had one Minifee, but in need of money I had to sell her. I had to think a bit about it becouse she had Strawberryresin's beautiful face up and she did a fantastic job with it. Miyu - also had but needed to sell, and I really love my Delf Miyu more. Somehow Soo and Lishe are also in the list as Minifee. Minifee Chiwoo boy with active line boy body would be cute! It would also be easier for me, I wouldn't have to bother my friends with borrowing their dolls for longer times. I'd really want a Juri 08 A-line girl but that's not likely to happen and I wouldn't have any finances at the moment. :P Anyway, on with the show.

Bluefairy had so many nice new things lately! I love Rachel, I wish I'd had the money to buy her in the Pupa*Casa event! My friends bought some dolls from that event so I'm happy to see their dolls at least. ^^ Winter Rachel was awesome, maybe I'll someday have a Rachel boy. ;3 He'd be really cute with his teethies showing and he'd be Tobias' school friend. They'd make a dynamic trio with Noah, Tobias and "the new guy". Also the Shiny Fairy May 3rd was updated! And fist hands! I just neeeeeed those fist hands! And more Tiptoe feet, why didn't I realize them earlier in LDoll and bought only one white pair! I should've bought at least three pairs in white and normal skin!

I'm also pleased to see so many pageviews and followers. Oh mi gosh, I'm blushing here. I plan to make a little give away, but I'm not very familiar with those so I first need to find out things that are involved. ^^; And figure out what to do!
