My Pureneemo Family

Family and family, well, the gang, how ever you want to call it. One morning before evening shift this past week was sunny and nice and fun and I took the girls out from the crafting room to the sunny side of the house. I only had time for some photos, and I forgot to have more photos from little groups and a groupshot from them all. I did have one for Instagram but it's not the same! I also had Sahra's a la Mode Meow x Meow Sahra arrival but I didn't manage to photograph her properly either as she arrived last week when I had three hours longer day at work so I was quite tired after having to go all the way to the post office too. My closest Post office isn't anywhere in my work route, so it's always tedious to go there by train and then take a bus home. I usually go by just one bus to work and home, (except home from the evening shift) - so going to the post office means I need to adjust my thinking for it before going there. It just takes a bit more time. I had been following the parcel from the tracking for whole day and to my surprise they did try to deliver it second time around midday when I was just having lunch. To my surprise they called me if I was home and if I wanted the code for the parcel. :P I answered that I had been tracking it for the whole day and I do have the code to pick it up from the Post. Many times I've been at home waiting for the evening shift and luckily have had many packages delivered home. Sahra almost arrived to my birthday - only few days late - so I'm happy. All her items were really pretty and I'm glad she's home safe and sound.

Being Busy

Ooo how busy I've been lately! I haven't had time or light to photograph at all this week, and that's a bummer isn't it. I'm hoping I'll have some light on Sunday so I can photograph Sylvia and Jaya since I changed their outfits to do so earlier but I just didn't have time or light. Man it's been dark! And now it's raining, boohoo.

Anyway, been busy with things and visited an event at Messukeskus today. They had pet expo, country expo, outlet expo and handcrafting and such things going on. There were stuff for sale as well as supplies and things. I really loved the bunnies especially! We had a rabbit when I was a kid and how cute she was. We also took a little tour seeing rats, dogs, cats and other animals there was. They had also agility for rabbits and that what super adorable. I bought a minicupcake tin, and paper cups for it and some faaabulous fabrics. I kinda went crazy with them and I bought several pieces. I tried to pick some blue and a green one since I don't have much of those color fabrics. Hopefully I'm able to sew something from them soon. :D Me and my friend were really overwhelmed about the amount of people so we only walked around the pet expo and handcrafting areas. That was well enough and we decided to go home. :)

Sewed some clothes for Lukas (Louis) and Leo (Gus). Both have new pants, and I will sew some other garments to go. Lukas will have a shirt, I've already cut pieces to a darkish grey but was thinking that maybe white would work better with the ocra yellow pants and black cardigan. I have no idea what colour I should use for Leo since his wig is almost the same color that the grey is so I think I can't use that. I want to have some kind of colorful stripe on the front. Similar to Tobias' shirt but with colorful panel. That would be great! Only needing to decide the colors.


They have a button on front, but I didn't photograph that yet.

I've invited some friends to visit at Tobias's birthday meet, that's actually also a 10 year anniversary of sort, kinda celebrating my 10th year in BJD hobby. I've reserved a meeting place from our building, they're the kind of free of charge spaces where people can arrange meets, parties or such events. I've seen the place once, and I hope it will be good for us. ^__^ I don't yet know what we will do except for looking at dolls, but I'm trying to arrange some sort of photographing place for them and then.. propably just random chatting and admiring dolls. And eating, I'll definitely bake something. I will bring some dolls in to the meet but not all. ^^; That would be too much, even if it is our celebration. LOL. Two more weeks before the actual celebration and I should be making some paper hats. :D I asked if people would put a paperhat on their dolls, that'd be fun. So exited to have this little meeting, if the meet place will be good I might have more meets there.

Also, I sewed a pencil skirt that I really liked and wanted to make a hat to go with it but dang I failed the hat. xD That was sad, I can take a photo from it tomorrow but the brim (?) is too wide and too floppy, it should've been shorter and turn more down so it would've looked better. There's no more of that fabric so that can't be helped. Maybe I'll find out a way to save the hat. :D we'll see.

Boys, Etsy, sewing woes

Wow, I'm amazed about the amount of people who participated in my Giveaway! ^__^ Thank you all once again for participating. Since that was so cool and fun I will have another one in the future, no time decided yet. :D I added some stuff to my Etsy shop among the Moe line jeans and Tinyfairy jeans, I'll be sewing more of Minifee A-line jeans later since they seem to be something people want to have. Also I want to remind gently that I'm working full time and have a shift work which is very tiring so I do not take any custom orders. There is little time to do home errands, sew for dolls, spend time with the boyfriend and see friends, I thank you for understanding. ^^;

Ok, back to dolls then again! I'm really feeling the urge to sew winterwear for them all right now! MAN how cold this mornings has been last week! The stars were so bright, I saw Orion there shining for me when I walked down to the bus stop at 5 AM. My Tinyfairy Boys are hanging around at the craft room's shelf. Even Marcus and Angus joined in and I undressed them from the café outfits. I have a little bit of trouble with the boys clothes I have to admit. I have very little of imagination with them and mostly what the boys seem to wear at the moment are long sleeved jersey t-shirts. But what else could I make for them. Maybe some vests and that sort of things that I've already made for sale earlier. Also, some hoodies. But I'd definitely need some happier colour fabrics! Mostly what I have in storage are girly materials but I'd love to get some colourful stuff and then try figure out what to make from them. ^^; Anyway, I have few ideas but I also need to make them and not only to talk! I took a photo of my boys, so you can see how they are. I do think there are need to buy some new eyes, at least for Áron (Kevin) and Marcus (Robin). They definitely need smaller size eyes so I can have them look a little bit older. I also find out today that some of the boys would really like to get some sneakers. Lukas, Tobias and maybe Noah would really like those kind of shoes. I might have wanted to order a doll together with some stuff but the order period seem to have get longer for Bluefairy and what is available and when is totally different story. So still need some waiting, maybe Minoruworld would have some things in stock that I want.

Bah, the glasses of our balcony are shining the light to the left side and thus Lukas, Miio and Áron's faces are too light. :P I didn't dare to move the table or the backdrop anymore since it took quite a while to get the Gentle bodied guys to stand.

Fairyland has an event going on at the moment. I'll definitely want to buy some bodies for the rolling heads, but I'm still waiting for some reason. Maybe I want order more than one at the time, Fairyland doesn't offer Feeple 60 bodies or dolls at the moment so the Feeple heads have to wait yet a little longer to get their bodies. I think I'll stick with the plan to get Minifee bodies first becouse they're more easy to reach. Maybe I'll wait for the Christmas event to get all three I need at the moment. The heads are having their face up and I'm prepared to wait longish time. ^^ This time I'm not going to get any rolling heads with the bodies. They were easy to sell, but I'd rather buy a pair of hands with that money.

I made a backdrop thingy from thick cardboard (in finnish that's "kapalevy", kinda have two cardboards and between them some foamy thing?) and photographed some of my dolls before it.

You can set the angle of the boards as you like, they're glued and papered together like book covers. My friend picked up the paper for this and I'm really glad since she picked nicer than I would've done!

Size is good for Tiffany too. I think I'm able to photograph the Delf with this.

Lol, Alexander is too tall for this. He is currently my tallest doll and I think I'll keep it that way. ^^

I also took photo of Ebony, my sisters tanning Lishe. She has too little camera time! ^^ And definitely needing a new set of clothes. :D I do think this is an on going thing in my gang, there's always someone who needs clothes.

Dresses

I finished Tiffany's dress, I'm not excactly sure she'll keep it but I really like it so I guess she can wear it for now. Some photos.

I also made her a little necklace. All of my big girls would need more shoes, so they're now without. I'd have some shoes for them, but none would fit the style of this dress. Which of course means I'd have to buy more shoes for them HAHA. Ahem.

I also sewed a dress for Mikiko, I really liked this fabric a lot, it's very pretty and fabulously enough there was some dark brown lace too!

Today I began sewing a dress for Akiko, but I still need to work with it tomorrow. The bust is somehow too big from the sides so I need to see if I can do some tricks to it. Otherwise I'm really wanting to try to use as much fabrics as I can. I've made a clearance for them, too thick, ugly and such fabrics from quite long time will move to my aunties place. She's and artist and does a lots of crafting so I'm sure she can use at least some of them. The rest can be thrown to the trashbin. :P Anyway, trying to sew as much new stuff for my own dolls now. Hopefully I'll be able to sew for the new girls too. I still need to pay one part of it on Wednesday and then she'll be mine. OHOHOHOHOOO. Gosh. I hope I'll like the Moe body! I do love the Minifee size version a lot. The head, don't know what to do with it yet. Maybe I'll keep her, but the body is what I needed. I'm so eagerly waiting fof the heads to come from the artist. :D

Random Doll Talk

I'm intrigued by the Tinyfairy Neo body. I find them interesting. I'd want to handle some to decide how much I like them. I actually was looking at one older Kid Delf body I have borrowed from a friend (I thought about buying it but it was too different in color to the head tried on it, and no it was not TF). I quite liked that body. And the TF body has similar qualities in it. Need to think about that.

Been sewing again, for Tiffany, not a surprise. If you follow me on Instagram you already know I sewed her a coat, big sparkly from glowing white velvety fabric with gold print on it. The piece of that fabric has just been around for long, there just could be a piece big enough for some sort of coat for MSD size doll too... I'd need to make some patterns and try it out. With velvet the thing is that you can only cut it one way and pieces might look strange if not cut in correct way. Maybe it would look OK. Might not want to try that, hopefully there is enough for another coat in MSD size. ^^ Would be fabulous!





I've been wanting to make a pattern to this kind of coat in Delf size for long and now I need to adjust the patterns a little and then begin sewing some for LDoll next year!

Gosh what big news, not to have the journey to Lyon again this year at all! How strange is that. I'm a tad bit disappointed, but I think for me it is kinda relieve becouse I haven't got too much time to sew when I have free time. Having more time means I'm going to be so busy sewing for my own dolls a little bit more. Hopefully I'll have time and energy to sew at least a pair of socks to everybody. LOL. And I'm sure I'll be equally as busy with the sewing for LDoll 6 as for others too. I might even check out some other events, Dolls & Party at Barcelona, or the Dolls Rendez-vous in Paris also. Need to think. D&P is definitely too close to be able to attend with booth and Dolls Rendez-Vous is quite close to Christmas so I'm not sure if I could attend there either. Maybe just a year (almost two) off from any events. Don't know, I'd really like to go somewhere but need to really think about it.

Made the decicion to add all my dolls in my "Hartsikanta" at HL forum, that's database just for one owners dolls. I've had mine, but I didn't put all things there, I don't know what I was afraid of, but I kinda "forgot" it for quite a while. When I got my Twing-Key back last year I missed all the information I had from her there. The Important Dates, of arrival and such, those things are important to me and I've filled a little book of all my dolls. So I updated my Database and surprise and fixed them all in there according to the date of the arrival (of the head, if there's not a body), there were 55 individual posts if I count in the first where I've put in Tobias. Alas, there are many head only's at the moment. But I hope the bodies will be bought later, I need to think about these things more, their styles and such.

Have a photo of Irma and Orion-maybe. I'm not sure about the name, I like this face so much! But I'm definitely not sure about the name. I think Nanuri 14 could be a cool guy, but in the other hand, a very pretty girl too! Someone at DoA asked for a comparison so I took a quick one from them. I love Siean's beautiful pointy ears.

Hanami at Roihuvuori 2014

I was at Roihuvuori's Hanami again this year. (In case you're wondering Roihuvuori's Japanese style garden is one of my favourite places to photograph dolls, and the Hanami is also held nearby there). It's been one of the most interesting and fun events. Chatting with friends and photographing dolls. This time I had Fleur with me. I sewed her a new dress, I had been saving this lovely tulle lace for something special and.. this became the special! ^^ I love the dress even if it is difficult to stay over her boobs. Tends to slip down, the darn thing. But, it is pretty! ^^ And oh she's sooo cute! I'm so happy I have her with me. ;w;



















Her wig was bought from JPopdolls, eyes from Enchanted Doll Eyes and shoesies from Summomo's stand last year at LDoll. Oooh I love them shoes! ^^ Going to need to buy some more for my Minifee's. I have my order shipped out recently, and I'm waiting for it to arrive so I can pay the custom fees. Also, I'd love to try to make shoes myself but have no idea where to begin.

Mariette

I can't get over how pretty she actually is. ^^ I went to a dollmeet yesterday and she was with me, I had a chance to photograph her a little bit. ^^ I've finally get back into sewing and I've sewn those lace + jersey tops in Tinyfairy and Minifee size. So far I've sewn mostly white, but after I sew this lovely light pink with natural white for Mariette, I decided I'll sew some of these in few sizes too.. Also the skirt is new-ish. I'd need to make a patter to another cardigan, more fitted one since this grey is one of those I sew for LDoll last year. ;) Always handy to have some left overs I guess. I'll be updating something to my Etsy later next month. (That's the plan anyway).

LDoll 5

LDoll is coming so fast! Which brings me to the subject of sewing and working...

I got hired by the company I was working as rental so now I have "steady" job, as steady as it can be these days. I've always sewn only at the spare times and holidays but lately I've been too tired to sew, not even to my own dolls. My job is a shift work in factory, so I'll have morning and evening shifts (and I hate the evening ones), so it does affect a lot for my life. I find it more difficult to adapt the normal life into the mornings of evening shift weeks. My previous job was a real "day job" and all evenings were free as well as weekends. It was so much better, even tough I still have free weekends. But at the moment I'm glad that I actually have a job, even if it is a shift one since there's no much of those day jobs around... What I'm sure of is that I don't want to spend all of my free time this year on sewing only, as I don't have that much holidays this year -again- since the company I'm now working at hired me from January and there's only three months left of the business year when the holidays add up. And of course, the holidays I had coming was paid off from the rental company when I swithced employer. Another year with only one week of summer holiday ahead. I'm trying to think positive, that next year I'll have a full holiday of four weeks... That's so long time until then.

I want to take a little break, just do other things for a while and style my own dolls. Get new ideas for their clothing and sew clothes for the ones that doens't have a certain style of their own. I've been neglecting them as well as my own friends who are not in doll hobby.

Anyway, what I'm aiming to with all of this babble, is that I won't be having a booth at LDoll 5. I will go shopping, that's for sure. Lyon is lovely city and LDoll festival has been superb event every time I've participated, since the first event. Exited to see all the participants this year, which proffessionals are coming in and private exhibitors will be there. ^^ That's something to wait for.

You Must Be Bored...

For my posting of LDoll 2013. I'm sorry, but that's how things are. I'm sewing stuff and hoping there'll be more stuff than last year. I'm also dreaming to get a new sewing machine, since my old is.. really old and I keep on drooling on some newer models there are. I'm not expecting to buy a really expensive sewing machine, but I think I need to buy something that will hold on with A LOT of sewing I do. I'd like it to have a good button hole stitch, maybe with two or three different button hole models and some decorative stitches too. Maybe some other good features too... Like the ... umm stitch plate thing would be made of see trough plastic so you can see the bobbin, of how much thread is left...

Anyway, I've been pondering about the Etsy shop thing too, and I think I've decided the name for it. I might be able to open earlier than October since I've been really pushing myself for sewing more and working hard for it too. ^^ I know it goes on slowly, but I have many projects going on and I still dream of having the give away thing in my blog. I don't know yet what to give! >w< MSD size things are the easiest for me, since I sew them a lot.
I, even if it might be selfish to say, am very fond of these skirts. They are so very cute!


I have trouble finding thin natural white cotton which I'd really need. Our nearest store didn't have any, and I'd truly need few meters of it. I need it for these cream coloured skirts (well not much of it) but there are other projects to come too... I just can't see myself to line the cream tulle with the whiter material I have. Maybe I'm silly like that..


Tobias is so cute with this hat I sew. I'm sewing some for LDoll and truly it fits for different kind of outfits really nicely. ^^ I hope people at LDoll will like these as much as I do.

Otherwise I think I'm quite happy about the dolls I have, they need a change of clothes... SOON. So I think I need to take a look at things that I have and decide with that what each will wear. Dressing ... x amount of dolls with something they haven't yet had on is difficult. Especially since even if I've been sewing, my own dolls don't have new stuff that much. Shoemaker's children go barefoot... I guess. ;) I try to have a style for each doll and still think that I'm not fulfilling the styles completely. Someday I'll have more time for sewing for my own dolls too. I'm glad I usually sew FS the kind of things that my own dolls would also wear. Ah, time flies, I'm so happy I have a day off today. ^^

LDoll 4 - October 5. - 6. 2013

SO it begins, the sewing! I promise I'll try to make an Etsy shop sometime during this year, maybe summer, or at least after LDoll at October. I'll have tons of things to sew and even less time to do it. Work's been draining me, evening shifts, what a joke really. I don't get anything done in those days, I wish I'll be able to change that. I had planned to open an Etsy shop earlier, but due the moving and all that jazz I haven't had the strength to do anything basicly.

Anyway, I'm surprised and happy about having so many followers and as I promised to make a little give away, please be patient and wait. I need to sew first so I'll be able have something to "give". It might take time, but it's coming. ^^

I just want to have something to choose from so I need to sew more! ^^ And this time I definitely will have either a photobook or a tablet or SOMETHING where the people at LDoll can view the clothes on dolls. I might need to to buy a new sewing machine, I'm having a huge craving for one since my current is not wanting to operate perfectly with the thin materials. :P Anyway, this is weekend of sewing! Gotta go!

LDoll 3 - almost at the finishing touches

Well, these jeans are finished already. I have three of them for sale at LDoll, but my stock has other style of jeans in various sizes. Photos of everything later.

I still have much to do! I'm going to start my new job with fancy ninja-suit (I'm SO gonna look like a teletubby xD) at next week on Tuesday so I'm in a hurry! There's still a lot to do, packaging, ironing, making the labels, not to mention I have to paint one set of the MSD furniture I made with dad... This year (like last year) I'm not having any real business cards like I'd wanted, but I really can't help that anymore. :P Maybe some other time. Sewing to this kind of event, having kicked out from my old job, sewing trought summer and trying to find new job (I'm so glad I found!!) has really been tiring. After Ldoll is over and I can truly concentrate on the normal life for some time it will all be OK. I'm not going to attend to the LDoll as exhibitor next year. (And yes, I'm sure there'll be the next one too). I'm just going to shop!

Dresses - LDoll 2012 Prewiev

So finally, after sewing the little bloomers whole day yesterday I now present you; the most adorable set of dresse I'VE ever made. I must say I'm very happy how they turned out. ^^ All sets have a dress and bloomers, and I've taken one set of each print for my own dolls. :3 I'm happy about this solution! ^^ So much to do still!

Summer Shirts for boys

As the title says; summer shirt for boys. I did the pattern for the sleeve with that fold in sleeve long time ago, I did then say it was a "summer shirt", mainly becouse it happened to be summer time while I sew it first time. ^^ I think I've developped quite much as a seamstress and this shirt which I sew on Sunday became really nice. ^^ It's made from thin cotton and has natural white stitching and buttons. Miio likes his new shirt, even if he usually looks like he's not interested. ^^

I will sew some for LDoll too, maybe in different colors. Generally shirts that fit Tinyfairy generally fits other slim mini dolls. I'll have to try this on the corpse... I mean Minifee body I have borrowed from a friend. ^^ Maybe I could borrow some others, like Narin and Unoa boy for fitting also.

Dresses - WIP

Well, these are still a bit work in progress. Need to sew the snaps and adjust the front of every dress. ^^ But I think they already look really cute! Sorry for the light stuff. :P I don't know how to master the adjustments and it already went dark when I began to take the photos. xP Sorry. These are basicly made for LDoll like everything else I'm currently sewing. My great plan is to sew something for sale and something for my own dolls, so girls will propably keep one of each colour combination. ^^

I used two different laces at the bottom. I would've propably gone with cotton or linen lace, but I didn't have any. These venetian (?) laces were pretty tough. ^^ I still have some left from both.

These are a bit baggy from the front. Xiu seems to have things going on while Lu is just staring.
