Dollmeet at Kirjasto 10

We had a dollmeet at our local library in the center of Helsinki city a week ago. It was great to meet new and old friends too since the longest time. I don't know what my camera was up to, but all the photos came out really grainy. I thought I'd paid attention for it but damn, the grainyness of the photos is so much I can't even upload them to Flickr. Also the main light that was in the meeting room was over the table we used for dolls and there wasn't any natural light coming in the room at all. Anyway! Here we go. Little Christmas Meet 10/12/2016

I invited some friends over to our buildings club room to have a little Christmas Doll Meet with all kinds of dolls! I had reserved the space for about a month in advance so I would have time to prepare for it and think about many things that has to do with the arrangements. There were Spica, Tiinyan, Lunaticz, Immarre, Peippo and me. I only took few photos but admired all of the lovely dolls. ^__^

Dollmeet - the late Birthday meet for HL

HL is Hartsilapset, our finnish forum which has just turned 11 years last month. Only proper day to get together was today, just a day before the Mother's day so it wasn't actually very good choise since quite many people backed off when they realised it was the mother's day tomorrow. Aaaanyway! We had quite fun! :D There was six of us and it was great and quite intimate little meet with quite a bunch of dolls! :D

Dolls

Thanks for everyone who has been there for me when I needed. And lets get back to doll things! ^^ I have to say, no matter how down I am, dolls give me comfort and joy, everyday.

I haven't had time to do much doll things, but yesterday I was at Hartsilapset Little Christmas meet. We had great time, me and Fleur. I only took few photos but talked with people a lot, it was great! Our theme was white Christmas and I dressed Fleur in white clothes. I see I have a lack of white shoes in that size and most of my dolls still need something new. I've sewed some new shirts for some of my boys and one pair or jeans for Áron, but others still need something to wear. Anyway, Fleur finally got to wear one of the new blouses, which is white as it was for theme. ^^

Tomorrow is the 1st December and time for the advent calendar again, I got the first day so I need to bring my stuff together and begin photographing soon. xD

Mariette

I can't get over how pretty she actually is. ^^ I went to a dollmeet yesterday and she was with me, I had a chance to photograph her a little bit. ^^ I've finally get back into sewing and I've sewn those lace + jersey tops in Tinyfairy and Minifee size. So far I've sewn mostly white, but after I sew this lovely light pink with natural white for Mariette, I decided I'll sew some of these in few sizes too.. Also the skirt is new-ish. I'd need to make a patter to another cardigan, more fitted one since this grey is one of those I sew for LDoll last year. ;) Always handy to have some left overs I guess. I'll be updating something to my Etsy later next month. (That's the plan anyway).
