Random Doll Talk

I'm intrigued by the Tinyfairy Neo body. I find them interesting. I'd want to handle some to decide how much I like them. I actually was looking at one older Kid Delf body I have borrowed from a friend (I thought about buying it but it was too different in color to the head tried on it, and no it was not TF). I quite liked that body. And the TF body has similar qualities in it. Need to think about that.

Been sewing again, for Tiffany, not a surprise. If you follow me on Instagram you already know I sewed her a coat, big sparkly from glowing white velvety fabric with gold print on it. The piece of that fabric has just been around for long, there just could be a piece big enough for some sort of coat for MSD size doll too... I'd need to make some patterns and try it out. With velvet the thing is that you can only cut it one way and pieces might look strange if not cut in correct way. Maybe it would look OK. Might not want to try that, hopefully there is enough for another coat in MSD size. ^^ Would be fabulous!





I've been wanting to make a pattern to this kind of coat in Delf size for long and now I need to adjust the patterns a little and then begin sewing some for LDoll next year!

Gosh what big news, not to have the journey to Lyon again this year at all! How strange is that. I'm a tad bit disappointed, but I think for me it is kinda relieve becouse I haven't got too much time to sew when I have free time. Having more time means I'm going to be so busy sewing for my own dolls a little bit more. Hopefully I'll have time and energy to sew at least a pair of socks to everybody. LOL. And I'm sure I'll be equally as busy with the sewing for LDoll 6 as for others too. I might even check out some other events, Dolls & Party at Barcelona, or the Dolls Rendez-vous in Paris also. Need to think. D&P is definitely too close to be able to attend with booth and Dolls Rendez-Vous is quite close to Christmas so I'm not sure if I could attend there either. Maybe just a year (almost two) off from any events. Don't know, I'd really like to go somewhere but need to really think about it.

Made the decicion to add all my dolls in my "Hartsikanta" at HL forum, that's database just for one owners dolls. I've had mine, but I didn't put all things there, I don't know what I was afraid of, but I kinda "forgot" it for quite a while. When I got my Twing-Key back last year I missed all the information I had from her there. The Important Dates, of arrival and such, those things are important to me and I've filled a little book of all my dolls. So I updated my Database and surprise and fixed them all in there according to the date of the arrival (of the head, if there's not a body), there were 55 individual posts if I count in the first where I've put in Tobias. Alas, there are many head only's at the moment. But I hope the bodies will be bought later, I need to think about these things more, their styles and such.

Have a photo of Irma and Orion-maybe. I'm not sure about the name, I like this face so much! But I'm definitely not sure about the name. I think Nanuri 14 could be a cool guy, but in the other hand, a very pretty girl too! Someone at DoA asked for a comparison so I took a quick one from them. I love Siean's beautiful pointy ears.

What's up?

I don't know about you guys, but I've been ill for few weeks now. x_x I've got sickleave today and tomorrow and I've mostly been sleeping. My nose hurts, home is a mess and I just don't have strength to do anything. Christmas was nice, besides having a flu, new year I mostly watched tv and slept. I managed to get a glimpse of few rackets but I was too tired to go and look at them outside.

All my projects are waiting for better day, since we are also moving in the end of this month. Hopefully I'll get everything going forward by the end of February. I'm horrified about the amount of stuff we have together. All the comic books and manga only... x_x argh. Packing dolls is going to be.. fun. xP

Haven't yet heard anything about next years LDoll, I wonder if there's going to bext one.. I hope there will. And I'm certainly going to attend even tough I thought I wouldn't.

No much to update

Seems like the summer here in Finland was most likely a week long, separate one warm and sunny day at the time. :P How boring is that! I know I burned my face at least three times, but still I do like summer weather and warm. I know there's long, damn long winter coming along so some summer would've been nice. :P

No much to update, like the topic says. I'm sewing those one shoulder tops at the moment, I try to have a variation in colour. So far I've sewn two turqoise with that text print, two flowery, two black polkadot in natural white, one black and one black with grey print. I'm hoping to sew more today and then move to some other items. I'm not sure if I want to sew some t-shirts, maybe, but I'd definitely need more fashionable fabric for them than I did last time. I've also photographed the things I've made, so that if I have time left I'll make myself a little book where you can see most of the clothes. That's not a bad thing to see how the clothes look like on doll.

I wasn't going to buy another doll before Emilie... but I kinda fell for the Lati Yellow trap. A friend was selling this tan Kuroo (The sheep from Le Petit Prince Limited) and MAN I did love those blushy chubby cheeks when I first saw this series at Lati site. ^^

Anyway, she doesn't have a wig yet, or clothes, or anything... But I'll do my best to fill that hole with in.. half year. I suggested a trade with a friend and we still need to talk about details. ^^ I'm sewing her Littlefee jeans ans she'll sew me a wig. ^^ Some wonderful fluffy wig! She does fabulous job, SweetNeat, and has a shop in etsy too. I highly recommend if you want to have a mohair wig, her wigs are full and pretty!

This of course means that I can't buy Tinyfairy Emilie and the stuff I would've needed... Maybe after LDoll, I hope I'll sell much stuff there so I'm able to buy things. I have something saved for the event, but not as much as I'd like... so this goes like last year. Still few months to go and I wish we could have more information of things, like the proffessional names so we could make a plan what to buy. I know there'll be a representative from Enchanted Doll eyes and Dollheart since both representatives are my friends.

Ah, some coffee for this morning and then back to the sewing machine... ^^ I really like those bubbly one shoulder tops. Maybe I should make a pattern for SD size dolls too. It would be fun!

Sewing - Finally Started

I finished sewing of all six pairs of jeans today and whacked in the snaps too (yes, I'm putting in the non-sewing snaps this time ;)). I was happy about the results, even if the MSD size jeans became Minifee girl size, preferably the A line, even if they fit for Irma's old B-line MNF body OK... I'm going to check the pattern and resize it to fit Minifee muscular boy which I borrowed from Immarre. ^^ The jeans were the ones I photographed a WIP photo earlier, I'm glad I finally got them done.

So far done for LDoll:

3 Minifee girl jeans - light blue denim
3 Shinyfairy / Littlefee jeans - light blue denim
1 Shinyfairy / Littlefee mini skirt - light blue denim

AND bunch of old. Not much yet, but I guess I do have time to sew during the summer, despite the time I'm going to spend with my parents at north. I hate to waste time doing nothing so maybe dad and I will get into making more furniture... And I can't bring my sewing machine there, so I prefer to have something interesting and productive to do! >_> I just can't BE for two weeks doing nothing!

I should try my hand on Lati Yellow size trousers and jeans too, since Leni seems to wish to have some really cute jeans for herself. She's demanding, and Ofelia would propably like them too... They're just so small so I'm a bit afraid about sewing for them. I'll be sewing on weekend too, but I need to meet some friends and that takes time. I don't want to neglect my friends but I do need time for just sewing. :P Work takes out a major part of day and then I should cook and .. well I've just left the cleaning for a while.. Workdays are always tiring, even if there's not much to do there.

As I got fired, us who have long term of notice have those.. "work getting days?", so difficult to translate better than that. I have basicly 20 days (1 day per week or so) to use for trying to find a new job, you don't have to prove what you've been doing during that day that you have, so I presume I'm not the only one who's being creative at their days, checking jobs at the web and stuff hardly takes 8 hours. Of course it would be great if you can find a new job straight away, but that also means you'll loose your summerholiday and such.. :P What I mean is that you will propably have a chance to have a holiday you've earned, but not in the summertime if you switch the job. *sigh* Trying to find a job while working and not be motivated for your current job is very tiring. I know I've gained weight too, and that stresses me even more.

I'm so happy to have my dolls... They always cheer me up. ^^



Have some pretty. ^^ <3 My girls. Both Xiao's are so cute! I do love them so much, and I'm plotting to have some day White Skin girl with black hair, since I already have one with red and one with blonde(ish) wig. ^^ So black haired girl with very fair skin would complete the collection right? Well, we'll see later, some day maybe but she's not the first in my list. ^^

Clothing Reck & Shopping

I really like my workmates, they've been such a good mates (mostly middle aged men [and few women]) supporting me (!!) with my silly doll hobby. Last year they were incredible supporting and exited about the clothes I had sewn (I brought some of them at work and showed the clothes for the guys and gals at my work). Guys actually took some photoes with their mobile phones, they were impressed (I think!) with the crafts.

They had an easy day at work last week and one of them mentioned that there might be a good chance now if I wanted to ask them to make me something from metal. I had these clothing recks in mind, did a little bit of googling of pictures and drew them a simple drawing about what I'd like to have. This is the basic of basics. After a while, Pekka came with the reck and asked if I thought it was OK, they wanted an approval before making "the other two". I had asked for one, =w= the guys made me three.


Perfect size for MSD size dolls. ^^ Sylvia seems to be interested about the clothes.

Last Saturday me, my boyfriend and my friend Elina and her spouse went to visit Estonia, city of Tallinn. MAN! There's such craft stores with tons of fabrics, yarns and beads and fabric! Anything you need for crafting! I've never seen anything like that before. I bought some mauve, black and white lace, beads, snaps, yarns (mohair, pretty!), tulle and some tools! Here is my treasure I found from there! :D Also, my boyfriend spotted some thin denim at fabric store so we bought it too. ^^ I'm happy he enjoys visiting crafting and fabric stores as much as I do.



Elina already booked us new cruise to Tallinn for April so I'm sure I'll get even more stuff then.

I'm exited and nervous about LDoll this year, I haven't really started sewing for there yet. ^^; I'm sure I eventually will get the sewing going but it feels sooo... I don't know, under pressure a bit? Becouse so many things are happening the same time. I should find a new job until September (I know it is far but it feels like around the corner!) and sew for LDoll and loose weight and and and. URGH. Maybe I'll just have some coffee. Anyway. I'll have my birthday soon, I hope I'll get the day off so I can sew. ^^ Wheee.

Sewing ~ and being busy

Random Miio. He is so handsome, I like how arrogant Kyle is as a mold. Looks like he knows best, he is the best and cutest. ^^ I especially love his eyebrows a lot. Thick and MANRY. u_u'

I'm attending in a little contest with some clothes next weekend. It's at local meet and we should make an outfit of our choice for the theme "Meant for each other". So, the meet is going to be on Sunday so I hope I'll be able to post some photos after that. I haven't even finished either of the outfits (LOL) so we'll see if I'll make it after all. ^^ I've sewn some dress and got a lot more to sew. xD

Also, I ordered some new eyes with group order to Enchanted Doll. Chloe, Angus and Audrey will get something new, I chose Angus some brown ones and I'm currently thingking which kind of wig he should get... Some of my dolls still have their default wigs and I'm always glad if I can find something else for them.

So glad I have kept my plan of NOT to buy all dolls I desire. I really wish I could buy Winter Rachel, but I guess I can't so no point dreaming about it, yet anyway, when the work situation is how it is. That doesn't stop me from going to admire her a lot in the site. I'm currently waiting for Ilithyia (Limhwa Half Elf) and Eliza (Zaoll Luv) from Jesmoth's and hopefully get them home tomorrow. I'm again thinking about parting from some of my dolls, but I just can't think about which ones I could let go. I've been thinking about parting from the bigger ones, again nobody knows about how many times I've thought about this before. I don't want to let any of them go! Especially now that I've gotten my french resin girls together.

Random

My laptop refuses to work so I'm now depending on my boyfriend's PC. He is trying to fix it but I don't think he can really do anything to repare it. I just wish he can take all pics and music from there, but if not. I'm glad I've posted most pics to Flickr. :P I like to work with my own things so might take a while until I'm able to update some more pictures or so. While not being able to hang in the net all day, I began to make some patterns for a A-line coat for Jaya. ^^ Today I'll begin sewing so wish me luck. I'll find a way to post pics later.

Still Waiting and other blabla

I wonder how long it will take to ship the PF Kissing Minimay. I've seen people receive some Robins but none of the ones that have been ordered via Angeldolls, I hope everything is ok since I haven't also heard from the for a long time. They must be busy with the London shop arrangements but it would be nice to hear some news. I'm also eagerly waiting for some shoes I ordered with Kitten Mittens set for Ofelia, she will be happy to have them. ^^

Anyway, while waiting for Anni I've been busy with work work work and with summer. These days has been so hot it takes all the living juices out of me. x_x I did manage to sew new puff sleeved T-shirt for Mimosa on friday night (yes! Night!) and I'm truly smitten with the shirt. SO CUTE! Chloe also got new tube top and... uh, well it does show her best figure, the top. I'll take a pic from them later and edit it here. ^^

Today I'll sew for LDoll. I've also been thinking to open a little ready to wear shop thing for BF clothes... I might add up there other size clothes too besides TF, SF and PF, but I want to sew especially for BF's. Nobody is surprised? I have to think about it. I'm sure I'm not able to sew that much and I won't be taking orders since it is highly stressfull and I really don't need to be stressed. I would like to have more time for sewing, just that it seems like I've always have other things to do so much that I find it difficult to take time for sewing. Also, my home is a constant mess and I'd need to clean up a little but seems like I can't help it at the moment. Todays plan: Some sewing, few pictures from Mimosa and Chloe and then bake a cake for boyfriend. ^^


Chloe looks so fabulous in red. Her colours are definitely turqoise, mint, red and maybe pink? I first sew a pink slip on top, but I think this one looks far better. ^^ She'd need the red Mary Janes shoes from Luts tough. :D


I tried to find some white or of white thin jersey since I knew we have some, but instead my boyfriend suggested this white with grey flower pattern. ^^ So cute and fits her so nicely and with the skirt! Maya will need herself a puffy sleeve t-shirt too.

Some sewing stuff + random

Someone in DOA wanted to see Olive and May together so I took this picture for them. :3 Natalia & Sylvia. Sylvia is so pretty, she'll be getting some new fab ED eyes like Tilda. 8D I must be crazy! So expensive but fabulously fabulous eyes. She'll look even better with them than these Hand glass crafts. She'd also need a wig I guess. Something less fuzzy but equally cute.


This shade of pink definitely suits Tilda! I think her matryushka skirt is fabulously cute. ^^ I'm still thinking about adding underskirt and some lace on it...


Natalia and her new friend Fleur got jeans. The fabric was nice and easy to sew, but.. it lets out quita a bit of colour. Or did. Not sure which one yet. I'll have to check out the dolls soon again. ^^ I'm really happy, especially Natalia's jeans I felt like I accomplished something. They both look so cute!

Now some babble: Sora*iro released Shinyfairy Olive but named her Connie. I find that a bit weird, she's clearly made after Olive mold even if her mouth is smaller (maybe it should be a tiny bit bigger?). She's cute and would be perfect little sister for Noah and Natalia. ^^ I guess it'll take some time until the doll will be available in the BF international site in white, I'll see which kind of set they'll release and then think about it. And definitely white in this. She'd be great pal for Nikolas. Also, I should take a picture from my Bluefairies, but Angus still needs some trousers or jeans. Last try went to Jaya xD becouse his family jewels didn't fit in them. Aaagh xD and that's bad! Now he's wearing the old default outfit's shorts. Jaya looks good with the jeans tough. ^^

Been a While

I'm having a holiday at my parent's home. I only took Ofelia with me this time, I thought I wouldn't have any time to do doll things here but it seems that I just might have had some time do things. Well, at least take some pictures outside, there's a lots of snow and not as cold as it was earlier this year. AND I seem to wake up early even without an alarm clock. ^^

I went to my favourite gift shop yesterday and they had a sale there! I bought a wooden box with a glass window door, there's a text on side "Laundry". I've always wanted to have few of these boxes! It is so fabulously cute! I don't yet know what to put in there, maybe some doll shoes or something. What I'd really love to make is some shelves inside the box and put the doll shoes in there. *u* Or maybe I'll put doll clothes or something in there. Or maybe I'll make a room out of it for tinies. And I bought old fashioned baby carriage for Ofelia (she fits there perfectly!), big wheels and everything. The carriage have some lace and ruffly things on them so it seems I need to sew Ofelia some ruffly dress and apron and bonnet and take pictures from her in those. xD Argh! So cute! Maybe I'll make something similar for few TF's so I can take a full shoot about them. ^^ That'd be lovely!

What I'd need would be reaaallly thin off-white cotton fabric and some laces and things. I think I have an inspiration about it all! ^^ I guess I'll have to dig in the local fabric shop and see what they have. Thin fabrics are so difficult to find. I'll also visit the gift shop again today! ^^

Random Notes

- I'm still happy my friend customised my blog. *3*

- I'm waiting for next week to make the final payment of Angus and Ofelia. And I began to think about their backgrounds too. A little. I also asked Angeldolls to add a little wig for my order earlier, since I don't have any Pocketfairy sized around. ^^; I have no idea if I've mentioned this before. XD I might have. And I have some really cute scraps of fabric waiting for Ofelia. *3*

- A friend sold me the school table/chair combo, and I must say I'm more than a little squeely about that! It means I have to take more pictures with the school clothes. ~

- I'm really happy about the situation with my dolls in general. I got two heads (the Byggs, if you wish to know) from the face up artist yesterday and they're gorgeous. *3* I now have only Ily and Eliza who will have new face ups, since they need some soda treatments and all, so they're still in process but in all, I think the situation is good! Plus I wasn't interested in new Soom MSD, she was really adorable but I'm so glad I don't have the urge to get her. ^^ I'm still afraid of each and every Bluefairy's news, I hope I don't have an urge to buy any from them either until summer. *Le Gasp*

- I'm trying to concentrate my energy to LDoll. Go me! :D

Picking Names ~~

Isn't it difficult to pick a name for your new doll? I've found it better to pick a name when the doll is not home yet. It kinda sticks better with the doll if it is chosen before the doll comes home. I had huge difficulties with Tia, she had like three names until I settled in for Tia (Tiana). Her name didn't want to stick what ever I did. :P I've kinda grown to call her Tia for now.

Usually I just surf around behindthenames.com and try to bump into something interestin. When I chose name for Tobias, I had three or four interesting names to choose from. First I think it should be easy to pronounce for me, finnish is completely different from any other languages and when I have that background, I wish all the names should be easy for people who speak other languages too. Kaisla is propably one name that is one of the most difficult ones. Kaisla = reed. I still didn't want to call her Reed, since Kaisla is more feminine in finnish. Maybe I'll list them all here, just for fun. :P

Tobias - was one of the three. Easy to pronounce, tastes good when you say it. I loved it immidiately when I decided his name. ^^
Kaisla - I've always liked this name, wanted to keep the finnish form of reed.
Sylvia - comes from a finnish Christmas song "Sylvian Joululaulu".
Jaya - I think I didn't have any spesific reason for this name. Just sounded exiting and exotic.
Maya - She just looked like Maija, but I wanted to make it in international form.
Lukas - for the sake of Jonathan Brandis' character in a tv series. (I was so sad when he died).
Áron - with that thing on top. I heard how Éomer said the name of the horses, Hasufel and Arod. Well, I was interested about how the last horses name was pronounced [ae]=[ä] so the name is actually pronounced a bit like Äron.
Tia - well.. her name was Catalina, then Cate and what ever. Tiana = Tia sticked the longest.
Emma - what a pretty name, soft and lovely. And international too. ^^
Miio - I thought Mio was cute name, but I wanted to finnish it a little. Miio is the finnish form, I think. Didn't do any research on this.
Chloe - just sounded right. ^^
Noah - I actually wanted to name him Niilo, after my late grandpa. I chose Noah since it sounds really nice and is as soft as Niilo is.
Natalia - I've always liked this name. I even want to make it long like Nataaalia, like one friend's mother who's a russian would say. I think it is really cute said like that.
Mimosa - this name was suggested by Elina. ^^ Really nice, fit perfect for the doll. Thanks! :D (She's suggested great names for dolls, I've picked at least two of her suggestions!).
Nikolas - Also, kinda a variation of my granpa's name, Niilo. Someone I know has a kid named Nikolas, I thought it's a cute name.
Ofelia - Pocketfairy Yoko. Just.. was really nice name. :D
Angus - Something Special Louis Valentine. Partly, becouse I do like scottish names, and partly becouse it is MacGyver's first name. ^^ I did love the series when I was a kid in 80's and 90's.

So, I've named all the dolls that will come home in the beginning of next year. ^^ I'm really happy about that.

Random Pictures

I don't usually take any random pictures, at least during the wintertime when there's no enough light. BUT I have tried to overcome that awereness of horrible quality in the indoor photos and try to take few, just for fun. So, here is Miio, Sylvia and Kaisla.





Sylvia definitely needed a new wig, I had it up to my ears of her angsty wig of doom, and I definitely wanted to change her into something more girly and less angsty! She kept this Leeke wig, but I tried on her a black and a blonde ones too. ^^

Kaisla had her clothes since.. forever? She was in need of new clothes for so bad! ^^ I do think she is a dress type of girl and I made her this cute babydoll. I commissioned a necklace from a friend and I'll be making a bolero jacket to go with this. I need to find a special scrap of fabric with this dress. ^^ I know I have it somewhere!

All of my dolls need new clothes, especially my TF boys. ^^; I've been neglecting their need for too long. BUT I'll be on it soon. And Nikolas needs long pants. And a proper wintercoat. And a hat and mittens so he can run in the snow. 8D

Pocketfairy Sugar and Pepper

And.. They're new bodies for Pocketfairies, not new molds like I first thought. ^^ I DO LIKE! I'm sure one or three of those will eventually come here, I think I might prefer few in white. I know I like the normal skin ones too, but.. right now I feel like Natalia and Noah would need a little sibling like that someday. But first, something else is coming here.

I'm actually waiting for a Pocketfairy Yoko with the old body and Something Special Louis V (among some others which are not Bluefairy dolls ^^; ). I thought I'd keep them a seeecret until I'd paid the first layaway but I just CAN'T do that. I've wanted a Yoko since I first got into dolls, but I always thought this size would be too tiny. Now that I've handled some dolls that size, they don't seem to be that small anymore. Yoko will be my first Pocketfairy and I'm exited about her. I kinda decided her name already. ^^; She'll be Maya's and Nikolas' little sister, and since the alphabets go.. m, n, o, p... So her name begins with O (and if they have more siblings...). Her name is Ofelia or Ophelia, I'm not yet sure how I'll write it. It is pronaunced the same, but one with "f" might be closer to finnish writing.

AH.. LOUIS VALENTINE! I was actually randomly surfing in Angeldolls site one evening before I went to sleep, when I suddenly thought that oh my, why shouldn't I go and see what they have in stock. And there was Yoko which I noticed first. Then I scrolled down a bit and "WHY THEY HAVE LOUIS V IN STOCK! MAN! DO THEY TAKE LAYAWAY IMI? THEY DO?! ASK SARAH ASAP!" I might have been the first one to notice them since there was only Louis in stock, and as I later read from DoA's Tinyfairy thread there was Somang and Sleeping Denis too. So, again I must call my self a lucky with these babies. ^^;

Louis V will propably be Mimosa's big brother who doesn't yet have a name. I need to find him a good name.

I know I had a plan for some BF dolls, but .. sometimes you just have to snatch them when they come. I know I won't be buying more in some time, since the second edition of LDoll Festival is coming and this time I'll save some earlier! ^^ I'm exited about that too and I've been wondering which dolls to take with me this time.

Bluefairy: New Shinies Andy & Paul

Yes, I'm a bit late with this report. ^^ Hehe.

New Shinyfairies Andy and Paul are ok, but I am just a tad bit desappointed in both. I was hoping they'd make some new molds like Benjamin but instead they took Patrick (Andy) and squeezed him in smaller size as well as Denis (Paul). I was a bit meh with them at first, but when I saw the girl versions I thought they work OK. I was hoping Paul would have a fuller lips like Denis have. I rather don't have much to say about Andy. I do think Kanis eyes would fit their eye socket nicer than those acrylic ones (that are OK. Actually Tobias had his defaults many years).

When I look at them side by side, looks to me that they are pretty much identical from the bottom half of their face, only the eyes seem different to me. I would've been more interested in actual girl molds but I think these two work nicely as girls, for me definitely better than boys. Paul has a little hint of Olive~ish in him, tough the line of the mouth is too curved.

Anyhow, I'm safe so far. Until the next year I think I should be. :P I shouldn't be watching any new dolls now, since I need anyway to wait until the LDoll festival in France is over and then concentrate on getting my crew together with their winter looks. I want to make skirts for girls and some trousers for the boys. I don't know yet which kind of things to make. I'm making a nice dress for Tia, but it is not at least autumny, maybe like summery more than autumny. XD Well, she is a good girl and waiting in there beside me. ^^ She's so cute!

I've been making a ... map?-thing about my Bluefairy dolls. Like who is who, and their parent's and siblings and such. I think it is fun to make and I don't even try to be serious about it. I wrote their names in somekinda familytree things. The dolls I have I made a little description about who they are and where they come from, their likes and dislikes.. all that kind of things. Even tough I haven't been making stories in long time, I have a little itch to make some with them. But for that I'd need a little bit of props and space in our home. ^^ So.. I keep that waiting at least for a while and think about it a little bit more.

I have a new avatar, which you can see here too. A friend of mine made it, she has sooo good eye on things like that. =w= Thanks Jesmo <3 I love it. ^^

Something Special - Limited

Bluefairy has released a new limited series - again. I do like the series, it is the limited head mold Special sets which include wig, eyes, make up, clothes and shoes. You can choose the body, like girl body to the usually girl molds like Lin or May V, or boy bodies for the boy molds.

Lin is always cute, haha, but I already have normal skin Lin so I don't really need one more. ^^ But she is lovely! Look at her! And May Valentine, she is a sweetheart. I still think that Denis makes a really cute girl, with open eyes or closed. :D He/she is really cute! Tough I think that my gang will someday have open eyed girl Denis, not just yet. ^^ From this series I do love Somang and Louis Valentine the best. I so wish I could afford at least one of them, Louis maybe. With Dandy body. It would be so perfect since you can choose the body and he would be even different resin colour than Lukas.

I haven't really decided yet, but if I'd go and buy one, I couldn't go to the LDOll festival in Lyon. I'm trying to think that I don't need all the molds at once and there will be maybe even better sets than these... I just sold my Camine and got some money from that, but it is going to my Lyon finances as well. :P I've also been pondering about focusing only on BF/MW and Tiny, plus my TTory elf and maybe some other MSD sized dolls... *sigh* it is only very hard decicion to give up bigger dolls, since I do love my Juri's and Miyu... I find MSD and Tiny sizes the best for me. I did give up my bigger boy dolls, I have only one left and I've decided to keep him so far. Ponders ponders... Gotta be like Winnie the Pooh *"Think, think, think."*

More Mimosa and the Gang

I took a bunch of random pictures from Mimosa and the others. I'd be really glad if we'd have a bit of back yard or something. Our little balcony is really crowded with stuff. Haha, I'll soon have to take more pics, since next week I'll pay the rest of Nikolas's layaway. I'm so exited to get him home too! :D

Uhhuh, I think I have ... 25~ish dolls. And one Tinyfairy coming hopefully this month. :P

Since 2005.

Few,(DZ Tintan, Heliot...), I think my interest in doll molds have changed a bit during the years of in this hobby. :3

8. Out of all of those, who do you miss the most?
None.

9. What is your favorite thing in this hobby?
Sewing. I do also like photographing them even tough I'm not very good at it. ^^

10. Who is the first BJD that ever entered your house/that you ever saw in real life?
First I saw; My friend's Tinyfairy Jerome, Eliel. First that came home; Tobias, also BF Jerome.

11. Who is the first BJD you ever fell in love with?
Customhouse boy, don't remember his mold anymore. (T3T that's so sad I don't remember his mold anymore!!!)

12. What is the most you've spent on a doll (the actual doll itself)?
I guess around 700€, only for the doll, not including any eyes and things.

13. What is your favorite photoshoot/photo you ever took of any of your dolls?
Ah, I guess the latest ones are always nice. I do love the pics I took from Jaya in Suomenlinna last summer. ^^ She's so lovely in them.

14. What is your funniest memory with any of your dolls?
Mmm.. Don't really remember anything that funny. ^^;

15. What is your saddest memory with any of your dolls?
When I noticed that Ily has yellowed really much.

16. Have you ever had a dream about your doll? If so, what was it about?
Not yet.

17. Which BJD out of yours would you never sell in a million years?
*Sigh* Tobias is my soft spot.

18. Name one thing that makes you irked in the BJD hobby.
Thinking that this is somekind of contest of owning dolls and stuff. I guess we all work for the things we have, it is always really annoying to hear somebody saying that you have too many or you don't deserve to have so many dolls. :P I am, over 30 years old, earn my own money and use it how I want damn it.

19. Would you ever consider "leaving" the hobby?
Depends on things why should I think about it. If I'd come allergic to resin or other materials that I handle with dolls I think I might give up for most of my dolls. I think when you grow with a hobby, it does change a little in some ways.

20. Who is the newest character you've thought up?
Mimosa. I don't have anything specific about her yet. ^^

Waiting and Planning

I guess I stalk the Minoruworld site a bit too often than I should. ^^; I know it takes time to send Mimosa out, but I'm still eagerly waiting for her to come. I've been planning her look a bit. I'll make matching outfits for her and Maya, I'd love to make yukata's or little dresses for them. Matching fabric, maybe a little different shades... Or maybe the same? Would really look sooo nice!

Went shopping for doll stuff with friends last weekend, I bought some silk since I'm really wanting to make something like Song of Song's Sleeping May had. I didn't like the sleeves like I said before, but something with similar layering. Maybe some indian cottonish thing on the bottom, or maybe some georgette and the shimmering silk on top. And some lovely lace on the hem. The silk itself is natural white, like silk is before it is dyed. I plan on painting the fabrics before sewing, so wish me luck. I have never been very talented in that area, but I'm quite exited about the idea. I took silkpainting classes when I was studying dressmaking, and also after that. Hopefully the paints haven't been ruined by the time. :D

Also, BF released the Tiptoe feet parts to the regular sale! I'm a bit exited about that. I plan on buying Emilie and Jasmine later this year, maybe it will go as far as Christmas, so I'd really love to buy the feet for them. ^^ And some eyes too, Kanis' are so beautiful. Among dozen of other things. :D

LDoll festival, heard about that? I plan on going there. I've been plotting this with few friends in LJ, and that's why I try to keep myself not buying any dolls until next winter. I need to gather the money for travelling, living in there and SHOPPING! It's going to be amazing! I'm already hugely exited about it. ^^ I would be really curious about any fabric or lace stores from Lyon area, if that is reachable. I need to register in their forum! Why haven't I done that before!? *goes to do that!*
