Yesterday & Today

Yesterday I was feeling a little feverish, thus no photo. Man, feeling dizzy and having throat aching and nose and all your limbs weak. xP Anyway, I took few photos yesterday, but I didn't have the strenght to do anything else. Here's a photo of Mimosa, being ill. Hah! How original!

Snuggling like that is the best if you're ill.

And today.. Áron got a little change since someone at DoA wished to see a Jerome and Olive girls together... Áron is definitely not a girl. But I switched his head in Chloe's Full Blossom body and.. Yeah. He still looks like he. xD I don't know if it is becouse Chloe's body has high heels on and thus is a bit taller than Natalia. xD

I already switched him back to his Dandy. xD He sure looks a lot happier with it.

Squinties

I was asked to take some pictures from my squinties. ^^ So I took some pictures from them. I find taking pictures much more easier now that I've got to use my boyfriend's Nikon, a far better camera than my own little pocket one. And photographing is much more fun with a better camera too!

More Mimosa and the Gang

I took a bunch of random pictures from Mimosa and the others. I'd be really glad if we'd have a bit of back yard or something. Our little balcony is really crowded with stuff. Haha, I'll soon have to take more pics, since next week I'll pay the rest of Nikolas's layaway. I'm so exited to get him home too! :D

With Jaya. Jaya has actually Kaisla's clothes and jewellery. I do love that Midsummer Night's Dreaming Sets dress, I think this La Vien En Rose set's clothes will go to the same category.

Box opening - Mimosa

Just when I last time whined about the shipping of La Vien en Rose May Valentine, they already had shipped her. She was snatched by the evil evil Finnish customs and I had to pay a lot to get her out. I got the customs notice on tuesday so that's when I went to get her. x_x But she is worth every euro! And waiting. ^^ I'm so glad there's now a EU area dealer for BF. (Sarah & Xynsta) I'll certainly will be turning on them next time I'll order from BF. (Maybe some limited? Or Jasmine & Emilie?) I sent Minoruworld's Q&A a picture of my gang with a thank you note. ^^ Mimosa is very muchly welcomed here. Opening, but without the opening-helpers I had. This would've been too long post with them. So, to the opening.

Still waiting...

I asked from Minoruworld about any estimated time for shipping Mimosa, they said maybe this week and that was week and a half ago on Monday. Well, I guess they are busy with the Shinyfairies (which are very want-to-have-someday) since they got propably more orders than they were prepaired for. *sigh* I still can hope they'll ship Mim soonishly. I don't know why I'm so anxious about her.

Here is one picture from a picnic meet I was in. See, there's Gus! ^^ He was so cute. I'm still having this urge to buy the Limited Gus from MW. I do think that styling is more to my liking.


I've been sewing some t-shirts mainly for girls, I need to make a pattern for boys too. I'm quite happy with the results of the girl-pattern. ^^

Waiting and Planning

I guess I stalk the Minoruworld site a bit too often than I should. ^^; I know it takes time to send Mimosa out, but I'm still eagerly waiting for her to come. I've been planning her look a bit. I'll make matching outfits for her and Maya, I'd love to make yukata's or little dresses for them. Matching fabric, maybe a little different shades... Or maybe the same? Would really look sooo nice!

Went shopping for doll stuff with friends last weekend, I bought some silk since I'm really wanting to make something like Song of Song's Sleeping May had. I didn't like the sleeves like I said before, but something with similar layering. Maybe some indian cottonish thing on the bottom, or maybe some georgette and the shimmering silk on top. And some lovely lace on the hem. The silk itself is natural white, like silk is before it is dyed. I plan on painting the fabrics before sewing, so wish me luck. I have never been very talented in that area, but I'm quite exited about the idea. I took silkpainting classes when I was studying dressmaking, and also after that. Hopefully the paints haven't been ruined by the time. :D

Also, BF released the Tiptoe feet parts to the regular sale! I'm a bit exited about that. I plan on buying Emilie and Jasmine later this year, maybe it will go as far as Christmas, so I'd really love to buy the feet for them. ^^ And some eyes too, Kanis' are so beautiful. Among dozen of other things. :D

LDoll festival, heard about that? I plan on going there. I've been plotting this with few friends in LJ, and that's why I try to keep myself not buying any dolls until next winter. I need to gather the money for travelling, living in there and SHOPPING! It's going to be amazing! I'm already hugely exited about it. ^^ I would be really curious about any fabric or lace stores from Lyon area, if that is reachable. I need to register in their forum! Why haven't I done that before!? *goes to do that!*
