Elle and Sylvia

This garden is a place where I go again and again. I'm sad I didn't have the strenght to go to the Roihuvuori Hanami last Sunday but I was just too tired from our journey. I missed the cherry blooms this summer but I can't help it, the flowers had withered already as I dragged myself there today. I went alone, which was a bit scary at first. There were few other people photographing a girl wearing some sort of japanese style clothes (not sure if they were real or not) but anyway. I tried to find a new place from the "wave" gravel thing and I think I got few nice ones, and then I headed towards my favourite places first from the upper level where is a lot of paths, trees, moss and rocks. Then I went back to the stairs when they came where where I was. I thought it would begin raining so I packed my dolls only after few photos from Miisa and Tellervo and it didn't. I should've stayed for few minutes more to have few photos with my phone. Anyway, mostly photographed Elle, May Valentine (baked) and Sylvia, basic May (normal skin). I will totally go back there when the weathers are warm again. (I think I burned my face again! I never learn!).


YOu might spot the pink dot there near the gate on the right. There were the people, and I headed straight to the grovel in the middle of the photo. I was kinda hidden behind the rocks so I thought it could be a nice spot first. To gather some courage. ^^;


So the burned dresses are actually print dresses - gah - weeeell can't help it now. Anyway, more photos under the cut.

Roihuvuori Sakura Tree Park Visit

Thank you Safir for going to the Sakura tree park with me yesterday. It was so much fun to be there and see the bloom in full. Ah so pretty! I had sewed new dresses for Mimmi and Emmi and brought them with me as well as Maya and Mimosa. ^^ All the girls needed some attention for sure! There will be a lot of photos under the cut and even more in my Flickr.

When you have a friend

Isn't it nice when you have good friend? I've always had friends, but the most important and closest for me has always been my sister. I felt like when people were against us we were together fighting back and there for each other. I miss her so much! ^__^ I'm waiting for summer so I can have her here with me, even for few days. Maya and Mimosa aren't siblings but they are best friends for ever. And enjoy having hot chocolate and pastries. :) We used to have similar clothes too, coats, trousers and skirts and stuff like that. :) Today M&M got their new shoes from Crobidoll group order! I need to sew them new clothes too when I have time to do that. ^^

Maya and Mimosa

I took some more photos yesterday, but I didn't have time to post them here (there was a teaser in Flickr). So I need to post them now. Hurray! ^^ I photographed Maya (Lin) and Mimosa (May V) and I changed their skirts from the short pink ones to a bit longer for their winter look. I really love the cardigans and hats that Jesmoth made, so beautiful work and just the hats are so adorable! Pink scarf, both skirts and socks made by me, grey scarf by Fair Children. Maya has several siblings, Nikolas (Benjamin) and Ofelia (Yoko) and maybe some more if I find out the dolls for the gang. Mimosa has one big brother, Marcus (Robin) and she hopes they would be closer but they have at least three years age difference and when you're young that feels SO huge. Mimosa likes to hang out with Maya, they're best friends and even tough Maya is sometimes annoyed about having to keep an eye for the little siblings, Mimosa likes them a lot. :D Clearly she doesn't have little siblings of her own.

Bluefairy - Lunar Eclipse Sleeping Olive and Olive Valentine

I must say that I'm always interested what Bluefairy will make next! Olive is super cute as Sleeping and even cuter with Valentine version, I am sucker for squinty eye dolls! Here is their sales page. I do like the dolls a lot, their clothes are beautiful as always in Bluefairy style. What I'd really would love to see is some cute Mori style clothes, more like what they have on their Morigirl Olive. I also noticed that even if sometimes I don't really need the limited edition clothes, I love them so much I will regret if I let them go. That happened with few outfits and I really regretted it later on.

Anyway I've not been writing about Bluefairy dolls lately, I guess I've concentrated more for my Fairyland dolls but don't worry! I do have them in my heart for ever. ^^ Please make this - event was and were, I didn't write what I wanted, obviously for financial reasons! I didn't have any finances for new doll at that point, I think, and I'm so glad they didn't make Lin then. I didn't have finances for Baked Pocketfairy Jimmy or the TF Mans suit, oh how much I drooled that outfit! I haven't really played with my Pocketfairies that much but I really love their size! I would love to have more, but I know I would do more with my TF's and Minifees so I guess that will have to wait until later on. I'm afraid Bluefairy will make Lin in Order made section when I have no finances to order her in tan, so I'm trying to gather finances for mostly everything. I want the bodies for my FL rollers and I want to buy baked Lin when she's available and if there happens to be Lin and Xiao at the same time in order period I just would have to get both. In baked skin. They would be so devine! I'd make them twins since Lin is Xiao's Valentine version basically.

I'd really want to photograph my dolls more, but I still have to work with the table and the background a little or go somewhere outside, propably would want to have some company to go becouse it's always so awkward to go alone. And I need to change their clothes, most of them. Most definitely! Maya and Mimosa have had their "default" outfits for too long! But they are so cute! ^^

I've been sewing some jeans lately, there are some photos in my Instagram. I must warn you, there are some shots that are not only from dolls (like my face :P). As I love baking and my parent's cat and nature and other stuff. I will try to finish those jeans and some other garments to go with them and then take proper photos of them. I love the jeans fabric I currently have, it is super thin cotton and it doesn't stretch. Like not at all! I had to adjust the seam allowance for many times while sewing. But soon they will be finished, hopefully tomorrow and I can sew other things. >w< So exited to do stuff! Which reminds me I need to wash some fabrics before I decide what to sew! :D

Holiday!

Finally! Holiday! I'm so very happy to have three weeks of holiday in a row. Tomorrow I'll visit my friend Uninu at Tampere and hang out with her and possibly her flatmate too. I'll be taking Hortensia (Juri 13) with me, since Uninu wanted to see her. ^^ Otherwise I really haven't made any big plans for this week, only few things that I really need to do; sew doll clothes and clean the home a little. Not much plans but isn't a holiday what it is supposed to be, not making too much plans and sleeping longish.

Currently I'm sewing some jeans, I might put them up into my Etsy shop if they'll satisfy my quality check. If they don't, my own dolls have just gotten some more jeans. Ahhahahaa. Ok, well, I have to say that with in years my sewing has gone a lot better and I have improved. Which makes me happy, I can really see the progress from the things I make. Of course, one doesn't always make the best of things but I'm really happy with the jeans. I have to decide if I'll dare to try out the buttonhole program thingy from my sewing machine or to make it with the old sewing machine. I really like to read from the manual that I can adjust the buttonhole width but I'm so scared to make it. I don't know why! Maybe the needle will break and I'll get it in my eye or something. It is so damn automatic that if it won't make it trough the program it might either make a hole to the waistband or to break the needle and I don't want either to happen. Exiting times ahead then. LOL, sorry if this sounds pathetic but I really don't need much more exitement in my life, :D making an automatic buttonhole with sewing machine is enough for me.

Yesterday I took few photos from Hortensia and my Baked Tinyfairies, Daphne (Olive) and Elle (May V.).

I should get something at the background :D but I should also get a curtain to the other side of our balcony since that's the side where our same floor neighbours are looking in when they're at their balcony. Highly annoying when you're just photographing dolls there. The balcony has those big glass windows too so it would stop me seeing the rainy stripes that goes down from the glasses. Uh oh so much things to do!

Some random Doll Thoughts...

I know I haven't been really creative with my posts lately, excuse me for my lack of creativeness... And small apology for not updating my shop, it's been so dark and raining all the time so I haven't had any good chance to photograph. Also, I've participated in few meets where I've sold some of the leftovers, I'm glad they are selling a little by little. ^^ Keep tuned, I'll go visit Tallinn next weekend and Oh boy I'm sure I'll find some nice crafting and sewing materials for doll clothes. I've already gotten a friend asking for white (not natural white) tulle skirt so maybe there's something like that coming out... ;)

Bluefairy had a Special Order release of three Tiny Fairies and one Blue Fairy. Lunar reminds me mostly about Olive. I like her. Tiny Fairy Isabel, Allan and Berry, well I'm not sure about them. I've seen one owner photo shoot from Berry, which was cuter than I thought but not yet the other ones. Isabel could fit into my group as one of Elle's friends... I'd need to get into story telling I guess. So I can open up the life of my dolls which are currently living in my head only. ^^; The Le Petit Café needs a good backdrop as well as setting that I should be able to put together if I needed. Also. I'm glad I bought Kevin so I can now have two boys for the shop in the real clothes. ^^ I love both clothes sets, they're so lovely. I definitely need new shoes for both tho. XD The shoes that came with Kevin are the Oxford shoes and man they are long from the toe part... WAY too big for normal TF feet.

Anyway, I was thinking about maybe giving out few thougths about new Bluefairy releases...? Not that people really want to hear but I'll tell you what I think! xD

Alice Noma and Alice Remmy are super cute, but I think Alice as a theme is a little bit old. I really do think there's the customer for everything, but as a theme it's used a lot by all companies. It's of course a classic, but.. Anyway, maybe it's just my head. They've used it once for Little Alice Kitty and with the Who Stole the Tarts series with super cute Jimmy with Xiao-Queen. The clothes of course are cute, I love the striped socks and the apron, dress is really nice in the new version of Alice. More I like the old Alice Kitty's face up. I find the orange around the eyes in many of their latest releases a bit disturbing. Pretty, but I think I'd have to ask customiser to do another face up or darken it a little with other color. That Xiao & Jimmy set I would've wanted to have with all treats, with both dolls, clothes and everything. ;) Patricia set would've been the other that I really loved, I love that dark set, really nice!

Bluefairy has made a lot of new Theme Specials, the one that mostly interests me is MoriGirl Olive. How adorable outfit! I wish I'd see more of those. I still drool over the Lin in Snowflake Variation from Sora*Iro set AND the Lin herself! I really love LIN!!! I'm so glad I was one of those who ordered Midsummer Night's Dreaming Lin back at 2006. Kaisla is special.



First School Sam and Leila are adorable, and the clothes are cuuute! I'm so glad I decided that I "need" Sam in normal skin version. ;) Maybe I'll get into that business next year. I still haven't bought the Emilie I thought I'd buy this year... But I have all the time in the world. Need other things too. A lot of them.

Ahem.. then to another Bluefairy, since BF is releasing the Dorothy May Valentine. Wow, so much stuff in so short notice! I like Dorothy May, she's adorable as May V's are. Her dress is really nice too, I like it's classic lines a lot. And you chan choose a body, I spy some people's doom there for sure. ^^ If I hand't two May V's already I might be doomed. I'm sure glad I'll be safe this time.

Many new releases from Bluefairy, I find it difficult to keep up with them! I was a bit bummed when BF said they'll not make any more of Misty Rose releases since that's maybe my favourite resin color from them. I do the others too.. but Misty Rose I'd pick if I could. Oh wells... ^^ I'm still happy I have three Misties in my gang.

Yesterday & Today

Yesterday I was feeling a little feverish, thus no photo. Man, feeling dizzy and having throat aching and nose and all your limbs weak. xP Anyway, I took few photos yesterday, but I didn't have the strenght to do anything else. Here's a photo of Mimosa, being ill. Hah! How original!

And today.. Áron got a little change since someone at DoA wished to see a Jerome and Olive girls together... Áron is definitely not a girl. But I switched his head in Chloe's Full Blossom body and.. Yeah. He still looks like he. xD I don't know if it is becouse Chloe's body has high heels on and thus is a bit taller than Natalia. xD

I already switched him back to his Dandy. xD He sure looks a lot happier with it.

Elle - Remember May Valentine

Such a spam/crossposting day today! I didn't think it would be that way today. :D I'm still going to have to hurry about the sewing for the event but I'm not in sewing mood at the moment. I know something easy for the shinies and something easyish for Ofelia, Anni might just have a wand or something. "Mary and her little lamb". Ofelia is gonna be the lamb. xD Shinies (Nikolas and Kiki) will be the Bisquit Bandits. I don't know yet what will Elle be, I promised to take her to our Halloween meet if she'd arrive. And she did!


You can see Mimosa and Tilda came to help me with the box opening. ^^ Also, you can see the fabulous hat on Mimosa, it was made by FairChildren (the Talent) and new wig on Tilda, I like that far more than the default even if it is OK too.

I love the shoes that came with Elle, I think they're really cute even if I did like the Olive's shoes more than these. :) Luckily I do have plenty of shoes for her feet, I think. She'll wear those for now, and I'll switch something nicer on her later.

May Valentine & Olive

This is how my Mimosa (May Valentine - La Vien en Rose/MW) and Natalia (Dear Deer Olive/BF) look like together. ;) I think they're fabulously cuuuute. I wish I'd have the finances to buy both baked - tan girls. ^^ I'm happy and lucky if I can catch one baked May Valentine for myself. I do love these girls, Mimosa and Natalia.

Bluefairy - Forget Me Not

I went nuts when I saw the new series. I was at work at the moment, having the last break of the day. I began squeeling for "ohmigod how cuuute cuuute they aaare I must have one blablabla!!!". XD My workmate thought I'd got a seizure or so! I was squeeling at delight and she thought I was mad! Which wasn't that far anyway! XD

I'm aiming for May Valentine, she's gorgeous. Olive is also beautiful but I need to choose! If I wouldn't have to choose I'd buy both. :P Olive has prettier shoes, but basic pumps are fine also (the ones that May has). And... Tiptoe feet!! I don't have any yet. But MAY V IN TAN!!!! I know at least two of my friends will get this doll. ;3 I wonder if my special BF-love-friend will get it too? She's mostly been into white dollies but maybe tan would lure her as much as me!? I can't say I'm very happy about the marine clothes but I guess I'll keep them this time. Something like the Sora*Iro's Forrest themed Connie, May V and Robin... That would've been fabulous. Dress is cute, I've actually sewn something similar shaped before, but dress I made had little blue flowers in it. Found the picture from Kaisla in this dress.



There would've been even bigger trouble if the release would've been with tanning Xiao or Lin. OR BOTH. This requires some serious saving. More Baked skin dollies for ME!

Textile Twins Maya & Mimosa

I was pondering about my doll families and such so now I've decided who's family does Nikolas belong into, and also about friends and such. ^^ I think Maya and Nikolas have enoug pointy chins to be siblings. :D Nikolas needs some other shoes than those and he needs a T-shirt too. ^^ I had thought that Maya has siblings anyway.



Maya and Mimosa are the same age, they like same kind of clothes and they are best friends. They do have some clothes that are from the same series, since they've been shopping together in their favourite stores. Maya is the quiet and observing type, while Mimosa is more social and talkative. They don't share a classroom and neither has much friends in their own class, but they still spend time together quite much after school and on breaks. Maya's little brother Nikolas is many times with them becouse they have to baby sit him sometimes. Maya thinks it is annoying to babysit, but Mimosa likes Nikolas who is a nice little boy. They make up little games for him and play hide and seek together even tough they are much older than he is. Mimosa doesn't have any little siblings, only a big brother, so she is always happy to go to Maya's home and spend time there.

Maya's new Look

As the topic says, Maya got herself a new wig. I had it from Crobidoll GO, and I'm very happy how she looks, tough I still might have to get her this one in the darkest shade they have. ^^ My boyfriend-unit said she didn't look like the angsty girl anymore, but rather like a little lady. Haha. I think he was right.



On other news, first May Valentines have been shipped. I'm hopefull Mimosa will be shipped next week since I was propably the last one who ordered and paid their doll. ^^ I'm exited! Also, I'll make some matching outfits for Mimosa and Maya. They'll be so cute in pictures together.

Waiting and Planning

I guess I stalk the Minoruworld site a bit too often than I should. ^^; I know it takes time to send Mimosa out, but I'm still eagerly waiting for her to come. I've been planning her look a bit. I'll make matching outfits for her and Maya, I'd love to make yukata's or little dresses for them. Matching fabric, maybe a little different shades... Or maybe the same? Would really look sooo nice!

Went shopping for doll stuff with friends last weekend, I bought some silk since I'm really wanting to make something like Song of Song's Sleeping May had. I didn't like the sleeves like I said before, but something with similar layering. Maybe some indian cottonish thing on the bottom, or maybe some georgette and the shimmering silk on top. And some lovely lace on the hem. The silk itself is natural white, like silk is before it is dyed. I plan on painting the fabrics before sewing, so wish me luck. I have never been very talented in that area, but I'm quite exited about the idea. I took silkpainting classes when I was studying dressmaking, and also after that. Hopefully the paints haven't been ruined by the time. :D

Also, BF released the Tiptoe feet parts to the regular sale! I'm a bit exited about that. I plan on buying Emilie and Jasmine later this year, maybe it will go as far as Christmas, so I'd really love to buy the feet for them. ^^ And some eyes too, Kanis' are so beautiful. Among dozen of other things. :D

LDoll festival, heard about that? I plan on going there. I've been plotting this with few friends in LJ, and that's why I try to keep myself not buying any dolls until next winter. I need to gather the money for travelling, living in there and SHOPPING! It's going to be amazing! I'm already hugely exited about it. ^^ I would be really curious about any fabric or lace stores from Lyon area, if that is reachable. I need to register in their forum! Why haven't I done that before!? *goes to do that!*

May Valentine

I'm so happy!

In the last restock of La vien Rose May Valentine, I was able to snatch one for meee! I paid her yesterday and had a payment confirmation today! I'm so happy! ^^

Now I have to think about the name for her. I asked my friends for suggestions and I did have some great names, Mimosa being most for my liking. I need to taste it a little bit more, tough Mimosa Valentine... aaagh how CUTE is that! I have to thank my friends, they have such great suggestions for names. ^^ I have decided most of the names by myself, but always when I ask I have great suggestions. Thanks guys! Especially Elina, she has great ideas! :D

I do like her wig and eyes, tough the clothes I'm not that sure. And the wig might have to go. I can always keep the clothes and use them if I need to since they're really pretty, shoes will propably have more usage than the pure white clothes. x_x I'm kinda afraid that I'll somehow ruin the clothes if I take my dolls outside in those. I have some of the default clothes in storage boxes just safe, I rarely dress those on my dolls. Mostly what I've liked is the Midsummer night's dreaming series clothes and jewellery, shoes in this set were.. not that nice even tough they looked quite cute in the pictures. They're really nice as well as Sweet Day clothes too.

Natalia might have to change her wig as well as her eyes. I was talking about it with a friend and we might make a swap if she doesn't like her Girl's Secret series doll's wig. I'm participating on one group order in Crobidolls. I'm mainly searching a new wig for Chloe, even tough I do like her wig quite much. Such strawberry blonde suits her so nicely. Seems like all the wigs I would want are out of stock. :P *sigh*
