A Doll A Week 2024 / Week 7 Natalia

 Natalia was a Bluefairy special order Dear Deer (Dear Girl or Boy) at the beginning of February 2010. Too bad I don't have all the emails stored from anywhere from different companies. But it is great that Bluefairy still has the listing for the order. The outfit was so pretty yet I didn't keep it, which was a regret some years later. Bluefairy makes such nice shoes and clothes. I'm not into the frilly style a lot, but some are cute and their more casual sets were more like my thing. 

Anyway, I was going to make a pattern for overalls, and I actually did but they will need a lot more work before I can sew them in actual fabric instead of just a test piece. It came out okay, but it needs more room in the hips and longer pants part before the waistband. 

So, after that I decided to push forward of sewing actual overalls and refining the pattern as one day wasn't going to be enough. I changed Natalia to Bluefairy school uniform, took her little sister Noelle (Breath of the forest Connie) and decided to make a little story with them! :D I hope you like it. It's as silly as they usually are. ^-^

Winter times

It's so dark here, even during days. I miss light, it would be nicer to photograph. :P Anyway, I did photograph a little. ^^

Daphne had a new wig, and her head went to Jesmoth's to have a new face up. ^^

Exiting winter coming ahead. Waiting for the confirmation of my order from Dollshe at the moment. I'm exited to have the big guy with long legs. I haven't had time to sew, but I'm hoping I'll get into that soon. All this Christmas stuff is in the way! xD I need to buy some gifts and then see if I have time to do anything creative.

Some sewing stuff + random

Someone in DOA wanted to see Olive and May together so I took this picture for them. :3 Natalia & Sylvia. Sylvia is so pretty, she'll be getting some new fab ED eyes like Tilda. 8D I must be crazy! So expensive but fabulously fabulous eyes. She'll look even better with them than these Hand glass crafts. She'd also need a wig I guess. Something less fuzzy but equally cute.


This shade of pink definitely suits Tilda! I think her matryushka skirt is fabulously cute. ^^ I'm still thinking about adding underskirt and some lace on it...


Natalia and her new friend Fleur got jeans. The fabric was nice and easy to sew, but.. it lets out quita a bit of colour. Or did. Not sure which one yet. I'll have to check out the dolls soon again. ^^ I'm really happy, especially Natalia's jeans I felt like I accomplished something. They both look so cute!

Now some babble: Sora*iro released Shinyfairy Olive but named her Connie. I find that a bit weird, she's clearly made after Olive mold even if her mouth is smaller (maybe it should be a tiny bit bigger?). She's cute and would be perfect little sister for Noah and Natalia. ^^ I guess it'll take some time until the doll will be available in the BF international site in white, I'll see which kind of set they'll release and then think about it. And definitely white in this. She'd be great pal for Nikolas. Also, I should take a picture from my Bluefairies, but Angus still needs some trousers or jeans. Last try went to Jaya xD becouse his family jewels didn't fit in them. Aaagh xD and that's bad! Now he's wearing the old default outfit's shorts. Jaya looks good with the jeans tough. ^^

Blouses for Girls

I've been ill for a while now and having a nasty flu is not very nice. :P I was inspired about taking some pictures today tough, and Natalia and Jaya got new blouses a while back. ^^ I think I'd need to concentrate on bottom garments too! xD Otherwise they're running around in panties. Gladly the boys have pants on. But they'd need some new ones too! And I'm not sure, maybe some differen't styles too.


Natalia looks so good with this blouse and colour. ^^ I think I'd need to have a little bit more imagination for different kind of clothes but I'm in no hurry. :D Jersey blouses for everyone! Until I'll make some other pretty patterns for other kind of tops. I think I need to continue practising my sewing a lot!


This.. camel-sandy-beige suits her so well! And now I'm happy about the neck opening (?) in the pattern. ^^

New Eyes

Uhhuh, I've been in a good row of buying eyes for my dolls. I participated in two group orders lately, first was in Hand Glass Craft and other to Kanis-Augen. Both brands are really good quality and very much for my liking.


Natalia finally got The Eyes that she needed. I love this blue on her. She does look really good. And cute! These are from Hand Glass Craft, 16mm light blue regular round. They got a bit long sticks at the back, but I don't mind about that.











Tobias' eyes are from Kanis-Augen. I do like the Kanis eyes even tough they are mouthblown and thus more fragile than other kind of eyes. I think these are the perfect colour for Tobias. ^^ These are called round topaz dark.









These were not all of the eyes I ordered. I had a couple of other pairs from both firms, but this time I didn't change others than Nat's and Tobi's. The nice thing in Kanis-Augen eyes is that they have low dome like my TF's need to have. I do hope there'll be some more go's in there. ^^ It'd be really nice to have some more eyes from there.

*sigh* There's still no word from Mimosa. :/ I wish she'll come next week?

The Gang + Visitors

My little gang of Tinyfairies. ^^ I think I have cross posted that picture pretty much everywhere. ^^;

Natalia is going to keep her name. I think it is perfect for her! ^^ I'd need to start sewing some clothes again, but I'd need to make some projects first. I did how ever sew a few things last weekend, shirt for Emma, Jaya and Noah. Boys would need trousers and jeans, and I think I could make few for the girls too. I changed Emma to Mio jeans and man! They look like she owns them. ^^ Deciding a certain theme or style for doll is difficult for me. I usually try many clothes on them until I really see which looks their "own" thing. I'm participating in a GO to Luts at our finnish doll forum. Yay! Just what my girls needed!

We had a little visitor the other day. ^^ Natalia has a new friend, her name is Yui and she lives next door with her owner, Jesmoth. Yui is Minoruworld Magic School Olive. I love it how different they look. ^^
