Some more Comparison

Just a little bit more of comparison from Gentle, Dandy and Boy bodies. Mainly becouse hobbywhelmed at DOA asked about how old were the dolls in the previous comparison. Just out of curiosity, came few more photos.


Jerome 2005 normal skin (also called the peachy), Louis Valentine 2011 normal skin, Kevin white skin I don't know excactly when the Cafe Bluefairy sets were made, maybe 2013? I bought him from LDoll 4 so not much earlier than that 2012-2013. I should've compared my Robin, since he is the newest guy in the house.


Two Dandies. They are same size, no difference. Louis has Dandy body from At Your Service Kyle (was made around 2007?) and Louis Valentine from 2011.


AYS Kyle head has Sweet Day Louis's body from 2007, Jerome has boy body from 2005 and WWN Tommy (girl face up) has WWN Sarang Boy body.. Ummh not sure about the year.

So, Bluefairy is having a body event soon, at 24th September, is anyone going to buy something? I'm a bit surprised they didn't show any photos of the New Girl body. Those prices are good I guess, I'm a bit tempted to get something but I can't becouse I just fell for another Fairyland head and LDoll is just around the corner now. I bought NS Chloe elf head, I had the white one but that certainly wansn't for me. I'm so happy I got the head but I know I need to get the bodies for several heads (and one is SD size! Ouch!), well if not straight away, then with in.. two years? Would be good goal. I think I'm leaning towards Feeple60 Moe body for Chloe elf, Yder MNF might look nice with Moe boy body, Nanuri 14 goes to A-line normal body and Sarang MNF I'd prefer another Hybrid M-line girl for her. I kinda think the smaller boobs would look really nice with her. They're good in their box tough. No hurry.

I also went to photograph some dolls last weekend with non-dolly-friends. I guess they were amused since some nice tourists came to talk about these "SD-dolls" with me. I tried to explain that my BJD's there were MSD size, but different companies have different names for their products even if the usual are those of Volks' and then the numeral uh.. thingies. 1/3, 1/4 and 1/6 etc. Anyway, photos coming later. ^^ Last weekend was super great! It was sunny and funny. Yay.

At Your Service

I got the best trade ever today.

I've had a little special friend visiting me and my boyfriend. She showed me all the pretty doll clothes she'd taken with her from her home-home. It was very interesting to check out all the little details from her doll clothes. She then pulls out the Your Kyle set's clothes and ponders that she doesn't need that but wouldn't really want to let it go either. We both admired the great craftmanship and checked out the lovely details. We talked about some clothes and shoes and such that dolls come with and I showed her Rose May's default clothes.

Even tough I love the clothes that come with Limited Tinyfairies, I've sometimes splitted the clothes with someone when I've bought the set, becouse my dolls hardly wear the style most of the clothes are. When I bought Mimosa [Rose May Valentine], I first thought I'd split the clothes with someone, but at the time I was able to buy her there wasn't anyone who wanted the split. Since I was able to buy the set on my own, I bought it and didn't think about the clothes. Mimosa came home and the clothes were on her for few days until I began to sew her something other to wear..

Aiy kinda fell in love for the little bonnet and petticoat and kinda started suggesting that ooo if this would be something to trade with she might trade her Your Kyle outfit for Rose May Valentine clothes. :D I asked if I could try the clothes on Áron to think about it a little and consider about letting go the set I had... Must I say more? I said that I will trade the clothes before I got the whole outfit on him! xD

We both thought it was a bit painfull to let our sets go, but as she said, she didn't have a boy doll to use the outfit and my outfit simply wasn't the style my dolls would wear, the best thing for both of us is to trade the outfits. I'm so very happy! ^^ I've been drooling this outfit for so long and since I already bought Your Kyle and the extra fabulous Jerome which came with that set from her, I'm most proud owner of the boys and the outfit. Áron and Lukas will propably use the outfit, as well as Angus when he comes home, since this trio has the Dandy body which is needed for the pants.

We both came very satisfied with this trade and I'm so very happy about how handsome Áron looks now! >w< I will take some pictures when we get better light, hopefully tomorrow. ^^ <3 Thanks Aiy, you're so very special.

Miio as a Girl

I promised to Jane at DoA to take few pictures from my Kyle as a girl. I don't have a girl body in white, but that'd be almost the same as boy body in girls clothes so I just took Tia's head off and took few pictures from Miio-girl. ^^ Haha, must say that he became a really cute girl!





This was I guess, a little bit boyish angle of head. I think that it is really important how the head is or how legs, arms or eyes are when you pose a doll. Sometimes it is easier to make it look natural and sometimes it is truly a pain to try and make it.











Miio has At your Service Kyle face up, so his eyebrows might be just a tad bit too thick for a girl but I still kinda like them even if he would be! They could be a little bit different shape if a girl... His lips are really nice, kinda nude colour. ^^

I now come back to this lovely person who offered me the At Your Service Jerome before. I mentioned her earlier when I wrote Áron's profile thing. She again offered me a doll, this time it was At Your Service Kyle. I was reaaaally happy she did offer these boys for me first, before she put them for sale anywhere else. And again I'm very humble and thankful. x3 <3 Thanks Aiy, I'm so glad I have these both boys here with me, you're a real darling friend and fellow hobbyist. AYS series Premiums were both white resin and had Dandy bodies, but earlier on we made a switch so this Kyle was left with the Boy body and I kept them this way when I got all of them home. ^^ I think Boy body suits Miio very well. He has green glass eyes and fuzzy hair.



Background story:
Miio goes to the same school as Tobias and they are in the same class. Miio is easygoing and likes to dress up to look good. He is a bit vain, loves girls and often is in trouble for wooing too many at the same time. His brother Áron is usually saving him from the angry mob of girls. Miio does have his responsible side too, as his brother does, but usually it is only with him when he is at school. He is competitive, with a bit of bad boy reputation and all the girls are more or less drooling after him and he knows it. He likes white shirts and casual but good looking in both clothes and shoes. Miio also gets better along with his little sister than Áron does, they have made some mischievious things together when they were kids, being few years younger than Áron.
