Little Granny's Christmas - Day 8

Last night Little Elf, Little Granny, Pink Bear and Lamb wanted to send out their Christmas Greetings and put them in the postbox to wait for Postal Elf to arrive. However there was no Postal Elf's visit, the basket filled with envelopes and cards wasn't emptied. They decided to wait until next morning even if Little Elf was worried sick her friend.
Edellisenä iltana Pikku Tonttu, Pikku Mummo, Pinkki Nalle ja Lammas halusivat lähettää joulutervehdyksensä ja olivat laittaneet ne postilaatikkoon odottamaan Posti Tonttua. Kuinkas ollakaan Posti Tonttua ei näkynyt ja koria pullollaan kirjekuoria ja kortteja ei ollut tyhjennetty. He päättivät odottaa seuraavaan aamuun vaikka Tonttu olikin huolissaan ystävänsä puolesta.








Little Granny: You're up early.
Pikku Mummo: Sinähän olet herännyt aikaisin.


Little Elf: I didn't sleep that well, I'm still worried.
Pikku Tonttu: En nukkunut kovin hyvin kun olen edelleen huolissani.


Little Elf: I'm going to see if the basked has been emptied.
Pikku Tonttu: Aion mennä katsomaan onko kori jo tyhjä.


Little Granny: I'll go with you.
Pikku Mummo: Mennään yhdessä.


They tiptoe out so they wouldn't wake up Pink Bear and Lamb who is sleeping on top of the warm baking oven.
He hiipivät ulos etteivät herättäisi Nallea ja Lammasta, joka nukkuu lämpimällä uuninpankolla.




Little Elf: Oh no, the Christmas greetings are still here!
Little Granny: Well this is not a good sign.
Pikku Tonttu: Voi ei, joulupostit ovat edelleen täällä!
Pikku Mummo: Tämä ei tosiaan ole hyvä asia.


Little Elf: I know there's something wrong with the Postal Elf, she'd never leave the mail in the box!

Little Granny: Lets go back in and talk about this there.
Pikku Mummo: Mennään takaisin sisään juttelemaan.


Pink Bear: What's going on? *She rubs her sleepy eyes.*
Pinkki Nalle: Mitä tapahtuu? *Hän hieroskelee unisia silmiään.*


Little Elf: The basket haven't been emptied yet.
Pink Bear: Really?
Pikku Tonttu: Koria ei ole vieläkään tyhjennetty.
Pinkki Nalle: Ihanko totta?


Little Granny: I'd suggest we will go to try find the Postal Elf. This is quite high hill my cottage lies in and there are dangerous places nearby.
The others nod seriously.
Pikku Mummo: Minä ehdotan, että lähdetään etsimään Posti Tonttua. Mökkini on kuitenkin aika korkealla mäellä ja täällä on vaaranpaikkoja lähellä.
Toiset nyökkäävät vakavina.


Little Granny: We can bring in some breakfast, I'll pack it with us.
Pikku Mummo: Voimme ottaa mukaan vähän aamupalaa, pakkaan sen mukaan.


Little Granny: There you are sleepyhead. We'll go out for breakfast.
Lamb: Baah. *Hasn't really woken up yet but is ready to go out!*
Pikku Mummo: Siinähän sinä olet unikeko. Mennään ulos aamupalalle.
Lammas: Bääh. *Ei ole ihan vielä herännyt mutta on toki valmis ulkoilemaan!*


Granny packs her backpack.
Mummo pakkaa repun.


And of course, key!
Ja tietenkin avvaimen!


Little Granny switches the lights off and follows the others outside.
Pikku Mummo sammuttaa valot ja menee toisten perässä ulos.


Little Granny: I think we are ready to go.
Pikku Mummo: Luulenpa, että olemme valmiit lähtemään.


Little Elf: No Lamb, we shouldn't take the basket with us. Maybe the Postal Elf will come here anyway and wouldn't have anything to pick up.
Lamb: Baa-aaah.
Pikku Tonttu: Ei Lammas, me ei oteta sitä koria mukaan. Jospa Posti Tonttu tuleekin tätä kautta ja postia ei olisikaan.
Lamb: Bää-äääh.


Lamb is already hyper active and leads the group down the hill away from Granny's cottage.
