Little Granny's Christmas - Day 7

Little Elf, Little Granny, Pink Bear and Lamb have crafted many, many and plenty Christmas cards to be sent out to their friends.
Pikku Tonttu, Pikku Mummo, Pinkki Nalle ja Lammas ovat askarrelleet monen monta joulukorttia lähetettäviksi ystävilleen.


Pink Bear: Oh gosh, I'm really liking how these look! Super cute!
Pinkki Nalle: Voi hitsiliinikkä, että minä todella tykkään näistä! Tosi ihania!


Pink Bear: I wonder how does Granny know all of these addresses?
Little Elf: She's asked those from her friends, silly.
Pinkki Nalle: Miten ihmeessä Mummo tietää kaikki nämä osoitteet?
Pikku Tonttu: Hän on kysynyt niitä ystäviltään, höpsö.




Pink Bear: What about these... stamp things?!
Pinkki Nalle: Entäs nämä, nämä... postimerkkijutukkeet?!


Little Elf: You've never really sent a letter or a card have you?
Pikku Tonttu: Sinä se et ole oikeasti koskaan lähettänyt kirjettä tai korttia?


Pink Bear: I've usually given cards to my friends when we meet, no neet to mail them.
Little Elf: And that's really nice too. I think we will have to carry these to the post office so that they will be delivered before Christmas.
Pinkki Nalle: Ei ole ollut tarvetta postittaa mitään kun olen antanut kortit ystävilleni kun nähdään. 
Pikku Tonttu: Se onkin kivaa. Meidän pitää varmaan viedä nämä postitoimistoon niin ne viedään perille ennen joulua.


Little Granny: You don't have to take those all the way to the post office, I have a mailbox!
Pikku Mummo: Ei niitä tarvitse viedä postitoimistoon asti, minulla on postilaatikko!


Pink Bear: How exiting! A post box, where is it!
Little Elf: Lets go out to find the mailbox, Pink.
Little Granny: Well you go ahead then and I'll make some hot chocolate when you come back. 
Pinkki Nalle: Voi miten jänskää! Postilaatikko, missä se on! 
Little Elf: Eiköhän mennä ulos postilaatikolle, Nalle.
Pikku Mummo: No menkäähän sitten niin minä valmistan kuumaa kaakaota kun tulette takaisin.


Pink Bear carefully carries the basket on her arm and Little Elf follows her.
Pinkki Nalle kantaa koria käsivarrellaan varovasti ja Pikku Tonttu seuraa häntä.


Little Elf: Now you put the basket in the mailbox.
Pikku Tonttu: Nyt laita se kori tuonne postilaatikkoon.


Pink Bear: How does the mailman know when to pick up the basket?
Little Elf: Postal workers, Postal Elves, have route which they will travel around daily. If there's mail they will pick them up and then there's some to be delivered.
Pinkki Nalle: Mistä se postikuski tietää milloin pitää hakea postit tästä korista?
Pikku Tonttu: Postilaiset, siis Posti Tontut, kulkevat tiettyä reittiä joka päivä. Jos laatikoissa on postia, se otetaan mukaan tai sitten postia jaetaan jos sitä on jaettavaksi.


Little Elf: You know it's important to keep the post organized and always in time.
Pikku Tonttu: On tärkeätä pitää postit järjestyksessä ja ajallaan. 


Pink Bear: That must be important job collecting and delivering mail out and in the mailboxes.
Little Elf: Oh yes dear Pink, and it takes lots of Elves to do that.
Pinkki Nalle: Sen täytyy olla todella tärkeätä työtä kerätä ja toimittaa postit.
Pikku Tonttu: Kyllä, Nalle hyvä ja siihen tarvitaan monta Tonttua.


They leave the basket filled with envelopes and cards to the mailbox and go back inside.
He jättävät postilaatikkoon korin täynnänsä kirjekuoria ja joulukortteja ja menevät takaisin mökkiin.


Day turns into evening and stars lit the sky.
Päivä kääntyy illaksi ja tähdet valaisevat taivaan.


Lamb steps out to the chilly evening.
Lammas astelee ulos kylmään iltaan.


Little Granny asked her to pick up the basket from the mailbox.
Pikku Mummo on pyysi häntä hakemaan korin takaisin postilaatikosta.


But the basket isn't empty!
Mutta kori ei olekaan tyhjä!


Lamb dashes back to the cottage with snow sparkling around her.
Luminen maa ympärillään kimeltäen Lammas loikkii takaisin mökkiin.


Lamb: BAAAAH! *Worried*
Little Granny: The basket wasn't empty?!
Lammas: BÄÄÄÄ! *On huolissaan*
Pikku Mummo: Kori ei ollutkaan tyhjä?!


Little Elf: What has happened to the Postal Elf!
Pikku Tonttu: Mitä Posti Tontulle on tapahtunut!
