Odessa - Bluefairy Shinyfairy May (1.) 4/24

I was totally desperate to get Shinyfairy May in the first sculpt that Bluefairy created in SF size. Bluefairy modded the sculpt in totally different one for the second edition and changed it back to the third. The first and third Shinyfairy May look similar, but the second was really different from the mouth. I don't know why they did that but they did anyway. Maybe the Bluefairy enthusiasts got them changing the sculpt back looking more like Tinyfairy May like it was originally. My friend Uninu helped me to get this girl from Y!Japan and this doll was quite pricey as I can recall. And just few days or week or so after I had paid this girl Bluefairy noticed that they are going to make a final sale for the SF May 1st. It wasn't good luck for me, I always hope I can make the best deals with dolls I buy from second hand market and this time I really didn't. Doesn't everybody want the best deal? Anyway!

Odessa came to me on May 2012. She's such a sweet girl! May is the iconic sculpt of Bluefairy and they have sculpted this little face in many sizes. I'm vey happy to have this little girl. Isn't she cute? Her wig is from Leeke, eyes are Hand Glass Craft mauve in 14mm, face up is by Bluefairy as well as outfit and shoes. It was great to have Bluefairy in the LDoll when they came there as I bought few cute outfits from them and it's super good to have nice outfits for all of my dolls. Especially for the smaller ones as I'm really lazy sewing for them. :D Say hello to Odessa!

Shiny Girls ~~

I knew I regretted not bringing any of my dolls with me when I travelled to my parent's home last week. I was missing them so much! And would've been nice to take few photos there. Next time I'll take few, maybe dad will fix up some more furniture with me. It would be great! Anyway, I was at Kainuu again to keep my mom company while my dad was having a rehabilitation for his back and knee. (He's as flexible as an iron bar!). I haven't had time or strength to do doll things lately. I missed my dolls more than I thought I would and man it was great to come home to play with them! xD SO! Here's few photos of my Shiny girls. ^^ All of them will keep the dress they have on and I will need to sew some snaps and things on them. ^^ I think they look fabulous!


Odessa finally got some change of eyes and a wig on her head. The eyes are Hand Glass Craft Mauve 14mm and her wig is actually Noelle's default, which will change later. I participated in Leeke GO and ordered her a Maroon coloured wig in that similar style. I think she'll look fabulous in it! ^^


Noelle is so adorable. I thought I might switch her wig to something darker but I kinda like this really pale blonde one she has. She looks so cute. And I can always switch it back to her default which I like too. ^^ I did order her some ED eyes earlier, I hope they'll arrive soon. ^^


Kiki is so sweet, this pink dress really suits her! ^^ I really like her wig and eyes a lot and I'm not going to change them soon, I'm thinking to update her eyes but to which colour! That's hard to decide but it's not relevant at the moment! She looks cute like she is. ^^


All need simple bloomers to go with these dresses, and I'll sew some more for the sets I make to LDoll for sale.
LDoll is definitely coming and we now have booked our flights and hotel. Booth was reserved and paid ages ago and I still don't think I have enough things sewn! I'm a bit worried about the time, but I hope I'll have time to do things on summerholiday. Only three weeks of work! That'll go fast! I'm waiting for the holidays so much, these past months have been stressing me a lot, I just can't get away from my job fast enough. And begin sewing and photographing my dolls. :D Yay!

Odessa - pearl of the BlackSea

Yep, like the topic says, ... I've been lucky again. I was surfing around while talking in IRC with friends and then someone of them linked something from Y!japan. I checked out their link and just thought that hah! maybe I'll take a look for "Bluefairy" in their search. I bumped into .. well honestly, quite bad photos of Shinyfairy May as she was in Auction at there. I really took a good look at all photos, thinking that maybe this isn't the "original" SF May I've wanted, but the renewal version. The eyes and lips looked much more like the OLD so.. I took a chance and asked if Uninu would try to bid it for me. And she did. Results. We won the auction, the doll didn't cost a fortune even if she was .. pricey with custom fees and shipping and commission fee and... and I was able to pay fast (that's thanks to another friends help).

Armi: Finally! I'v been waiting on this parcelline for many minutes already! U_U'

Armi: Too much coffee and donuts! :D I want to open this parcelline!
Me: Krhgm Okay, but I don't think it took that long.

Armi: NOW! Cut from there, but be very c a r e f u l!

Armi: WUNDEFUL! Another box! 8D

Armi: I guess I'm not gonna get that pink pony from this one either. :< Me: Well, maybe a little friend would be better?

Armi: *snif* ... This pillow and box smells like old house where my grandma lives. Bhleurgh!
Me: Like what? :D

Armi: Hold on girl! I'll save you! 8D
Girl: GRHmp!

Girl: Oh my head. ;n;
Armi: Poor you, must've been a bumpy ride. Your other eye is missing and no wig. :(

Armi: What's your name girl? 8D
Girl: Umm... I.. My name is Odessa.

Armi: Come with me girl, and we'll get this awful smell off you and provide you with some TLC! u__U The Big Girl is good with that kind of thing!
Odessa: .. Big Girl? I wonder where I've come...

Aww she's so pretty. I do love the face up, especially lips are very pretty. ^^ I had to remove the upper lashes since they were all smushed, and the eyes she had in were too big and too little eye putty to keep them in their place. I washed her body with soap and water, it's drying up. Also she got Hand Glass Craft 14mm mauve coloured eyes on, they have quite big dome, but they were the best colour for her now. ^^ I'm concidering on buying her a wig, but something is holding me back. Dunno what.. maybe she should wear Noelle's wig for a while until I'll find her something else. :o
